Nikolai is a minor antagonist of the 2002 action-thriller film xXx. He is a rogue Russian scientist who was in league with Yorgi Azar Zimin of Anarchy 99 until the events of the film.
He was portrayed by Vitezslav Bouchner.
Biography
Allying with Anarchy 99
Being a well-known chemist of Mother Russia, Nikolai was known for stealing a biochemical weapon called Silent Night and was brought over by Yorgi, who plans to use it on creating worldwide anarchy. To that end, Yorgi gave Nikolai and his team of scientists and technicians their own laboratory under Yorgi's mansion to oversee their experiments on Silent Night.
As part of the assignment given by Yorgi, Nikolai gets his men to create missiles that will deploy Silent Night throughout the vicinity on any city that it hits, which will result the deaths of millions of citizens. Nikolai also arranged the creation of a giant water drone (which they dubbed Ahab) that will deploy the missiles around the world.

Upon the completion of Ahab and the missiles, Nikolai reports of his success to Yorgi, who happily thanks him and his team for a job well done while showing Yelena, Kirill, Kolya Zimin and Viktor of the progress. As Nikolai and his team drink a toast, little did they know that Yorgi and his men have sealed off the lab before setting one of the missiles to launch, believing that Nikolai and his men have outlived their purpose.
