Nishiwaki is the assistant of Toru Ayabe and a minor antagonist in episode 4 of Tokusou Exceedraft.
He is portrayed by Tadashi Takatsuki.
Biography[]
Nishiwaki assisted Toru Ayabe in his research at his scientific institute, which involved experimenting on children to awaken psychic powers in them. One of the children in the facility, Hitomi Matsuda, would attempt to escape by mind-controlling janitor Fumio Tsuyama into "kidnapping" her. When Exceedraft arrived to investigate, Ayabe claimed they had received a ransom demand and sent Nishiwaki to supposedly pay it, when in fact he was really to distract Exceedraft while his boss went to take back Hitomi himself. Hayato went to follow Nishiwaki but, suspecting something suspicious, directed his teammates to stay behind. While Hayato followed Nishiwaki, Kosaku and Ken noticed Ayabe leaving and went to follow him. As soon as Nishiwaki arrived at the place that was ostensibly going to be where the ransom exchange happened, Hayato realized there was no ransom and confronted Nishiwaki. Nishiwaki was then presumably arrested, both for misleading a police investigation and for assisting Ayabe in his abusive experiments.
