Nitara is a minor antagonist in the 2021 live-action film Mortal Kombat.
She was portrayed by Mel Jarnson.
History[]
Shang Tsung and his warriors stormed into Raiden's Temple to kill the Earthrealm warriors, but Raiden created a force field to prevent them from entering.
In the Outworld, Shang Tsung called a meeting of his warriors, which Nitara appeared at. Shang Tsung introduced her to his generals and called her beautiful. Then Shang looked for a way to enter the Temple, and Kabal said there's a man named Kano inside the Temple and that he could be persuaded to turn off the force field in exchange for money.
After Kano shut down the force field, Outworld warriors entered the Temple to murder Earthrealm warriors. Nitara attacked Kung Lao, but he jumped on her back and directed her to his Razor-Rimmed Hat, cutting her in half.
Later, Shang Tsung pulled Kung Lao to him and took his soul, killing him.
