Nitra is a major antagonist in the video game Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtuless.
Biography[]

Nitra was originally a Demon in the Hinomoto Netherworlds and was one of the apprentices of Mugai, however, after Mugai went off the deep end after his wife's death, Mugai would kill all of his apprentices, including Nitra, in order to make Infernal Treasures.
After her death, Nitra would be reborn as an Angel in Celestia, however, Nitra would be traumatised by her death and the idea of dying again. She would often be ignored due to her past as a Demon until she met and befriended Ceefore, another Angel, over their shared interest in weapons.
Eventually, because of their knowledge of Infernal Treasures, Flonne would send Ceefore and Nitra to the Hinomoto Netherworlds in order to free the souls that were trapped there. After arriving, Nitra would try and convince Ceefore to become an Infernal Treasure with her, when she refused, Nitra would attack Ceefore with a weapon that would give her amnesia.
Nitra would seek out her former master and request to join the 13 Demonic Magistrates under the condition that he turns her into a living Infernal Treasure so she would never die again. Because of her connections to souls, Nitra would be granted the title of the Soulkeeper Magistrate and be tasked with capturing souls from leaving the Hinomoto Netherworlds and giving them to Mugai.
Eventually, Nitra would be attacked and saved by Fuji and his group, allowing Nitra to meet Ceefore again. The two would team up with Nitra manipulating Fuji's group to fend off any Demon or Angel trying to stop her until the Netherarmy reinforcements showed up to help Nitra fight against Fuji's group, including her friend Ceefore. When she and her reinforcements are defeated and Angels show up to capture Nitra, she manages to escape.

- Nitra's name is based on Nitroglycerin, similar to how Ceefore's name is based on C4, which are both explosives.
