Niu Mowang, also known as Bull Demon King, is a minor antagonist in the manga Record of Ragnarok Forbidden Legend - Apocalypse of The Gods, a spin-off of the manga/anime series Record of Ragnarok.
Niu Mowang is a Demon of the Chinese Pantheon, as well as one of the Demons that Sun Wukong faced during his journey to become stronger.
Appearance[]
Niu Mowang is a humanoid-looking Demon with thick hair that extends to a long beard tied with a rubber band, bushy eyebrows, canine teeth, a ring attached to his nose, and a pair of horns with a bracelet attached to each.
Personality[]
Niu Mowang appears to be a Demon who holds a grudge, as he has not yet forgiven Sun Wukong for defeating him in the past, and is also surprised to discover the nickname Sun Wukong got from elsewhere.
Biography[]
Niu Mowang is a Demon belonging to the Chinese Pantheon. In the past he clashed with Sun Wukong to take away his freedom, but was defeated by him.
When Sun Wukong takes the field to fight his Round of 16 match of the Apocalypse Tournament against Prometheus, eventually won by Sun Wukong, Niu Mowang is not surprised by his presence in the competition.
Powers and Abilities[]
Overall Abilities: As a Demon, Niu Mowang possesses physical abilities far greater than most Humans. His body cannot be damaged by mortal weapons, however it can still be damaged by unarmed attacks from individuals with superhuman strength and Divine Weapons. For the same reason, Niu Mowang is unable to die due to old age. Niu Mowang is however no stronger than Sun Wukong, who defeated him in the past.

- Niu Mowang, just like Sun Wukong, is an original character from the novel Journey to the West, where he is called Bull Demon King, and is not originally from Chinese Mythology.
