Now, we keep getting interrupted, don't we, Felix? So let's just make sure we have enough time for a proper supper tonight, shall we?
~ Noah talking to his snake, Felix.
I can't quite tell if he's the chicken, or the snake.
~ Noah describing Jack's morality, his most famous quote.

Noah Ophis is a major antagonist of Season 14 of Supernatural, serving as the main antagonist of "Ouroboros", and one of the overarching antagonists (alongside Michael) of later episodes in the season.

He is a Gorgon that goes on a killing spree in New Mexico, killing at least 17 people, cooking and eating their body parts, and consistently evades capture by Team Free Will. He also knocks Dean unconscious, which leads to Michael escaping and masscaring the entire bunker.

He is portrayed by Philippe Bowgen.

Personality[]

Noah presents himself as a normal person to most people, acting as a kind and desperate hitchiker to get their attention. However, once he takes control of them, he reveals himself as a textbook complete monster, sadistic, remorseless, and psychopathic. While he claims not to enjoy eating people, this shown not to be true, as he takes delight in taunting them and eating their body parts while listening to music as he cooks them.

Despite this, he seems to have some sort of bond with his pet snake, Felix. Noah takes him along on all of his killings, and never ditches him. However, it is debatable whether this relationship is genuine care for Felix.

Biography[]

Noah went about a killing spree of humans by devouring them and using the foresight granted to him from consuming eyes of his victims, he was able to see hunters Sam and Dean coming after him and always evaded their efforts to confront him.

Noah made his way to a truck depot where he coerced a man into giving him a lift but paralyzes him. Using the glimpse of the future he saw, Noah left a note to Dean and told him that he saw him reading it the next day. He informed Dean that he saw him with Sam and Rowena before telling him to back off.

With his latest victim, Noah tortures the pleading man and soon paralyzes him. He prepares to make the man his next meal until he hears the door, he is surprised to see Castiel and Jack. He realized his powers didn't work since they aren't human and clarifies he is a demigod to Jack when called a monster. Noah taunts Jack on how he can now see him with his power, before comparing him to the black snake and chicken. He then fights the duo and manages to overpower and paralyze Castiel. Noah then overpowers Jack and knocks him away until Sam and Dean arrive.

Surprised at meeting the hunter formally, Noah greets Dean who attacks him but is knocked aside along with Sam. Noah then grabs Dean and bashes his head on a counter, knocking him out. With the hunters occupied, Noah uses the opportunity to escape but is promptly beheaded by Jack, who slipped away and ends his killing spree.

Despite his death, Noah's assault on Dean led to Michael escaping his mind, possessing Rowena, and massacring the hunters in the Men of Letters Bunker.

Trivia[]

  • He is one of the few beings to overpower all of Team Free Will on his own.
  • He is the first being killed by Jack on-screen using a method other than his powers.
