Noggin is a major antagonist in Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai and the main antagonist of its following season Gremlins: The Wild Batch. He was a commander of The Old Batch led by Claw and then after her death, becomes the leader of his own batch.
He was voiced by Eric Bauza and later by George Takai.
Appearance[]
In both his Mogwai and Gremlin form, he has a large head as his name suggests. He later wears a suit when he invades Shanghai resembling a classic Englishman.
Personality[]
Originally he was a destructive individual who had the knowledge of his fellow gremlins. However, after drinking a potion, he became intelligent and a bit sophisticated. After receiving that ability he even has a British accent which should underline his cleverness.
History[]
Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai[]
Noggin, along with his fellow mogwai were created when Sam Wing accidentally spilled water on Gizmo. Soon it became apparent that they were not like Gizmo. The new mogwai soon are rounded up and put in a box. However, Claw uses her long nails to escape and they eat dumplings past midnight after terrorizing the patrons. Soon they transform into gremlins the next morning. Soon Riley Greene encounters them and soon takes them to his company. Soon Noggin is among the gremlins to sacrifice the Buck toothed gremlin and takes joy in seeing Greene vomit the gremlin. Soon they are taken on his boat and he and his fellow gremlins cause mayhem. After arriving to the abandoned city, they all soon enter the magic realm. Soon he drinks many potions until he passes out. When he gets back up, he has become intelligent and starts speaking in complete sentences. Soon he gets a ring that protects him from all magic. After that, he and his fellow gremlins fight against some fox spirits and is interested by one of their eyes. Later on, he passes through a force field Nuwa created and injures the goddess. Soon he witnesses Greene swallow Nuwa and gain her powers. After that he enters the valley of Jade and taunts Gizmo. Soon he jumps into a portal and causes havoc in Shanghai. Soon he takes the suit from a terrified man. After being interrogated by Elle, he is tossed in a cart and soon tortured by other gremlins. Later on, he has snuck aboard a ship heading for America and attacks some chickens.
