Nolan and Roland are the secondary antagonists of the 2024 animated feature film The Garfield Movie based on Jim Davis' comic strip Garfield.
Roland is the big and muscular Shar Pei and Nolan is the small and skinny whippet, and they are the two canine henchmen of the evil female Persian cat crime lady named Jinx who want to seek revenge on Vic for abandoned her in the pound.
Nolan was voiced by Bowen Yang and Roland was voiced by Brett Goldstein.

Nolan is the gray small whippet with green eyes. Roland is the brown big and muscular Shar Pei.

At the pound, they met Jinx, who was caught stealing milk, helped her escape and became her loyal henchmen alongside Barry.
The Garfield Movie[]
When Nolan and Roland are at Jon's house, they put Garfield and Odie in a bag. They both run to the old abandoned mall. When they arrive, they both dump Garfield and Odie out of the bag and tie them together and connect them above. Later, right after Garfield discovered Vic, Jinx, Nolan and Roland's boss scared them and Nolan set up a table and chairs and Roland poured milk into a glass bottle while Jinx started talking about her past with Vic. Later, when Jinx was going to show Vic, Garfield and Odie how powerful Nolan and Roland are, the duo demonstrate by attacking mannequins and knocking them down; Nolan holding the vase over his mouth and Roland holding the mannequin's foot over his mouth, Later, when Garfield and the others leave the abandoned mall, Nolan and Roland appear out of nowhere to tell them they are being followed, they disappear and come back from behind the sign and Nolan gives Garfield a "We're watching you" hand sign, cut to a training scene. As Garfield tries to land in the train Vic and Odie were on, Nolan and Roland just watch what's going on.
In the Lactose Factory scene, Nolan and Roland spy on Garfield and others of their plan. They go back to the abandoned mall to talk to Jinx about the situation. Jinx has an idea to call animal control on the phone. Roland takes out the phone, but Jinx doesn't want to hold it. Jinx orders Nolan to hold it and Nolan calls out to Jinx animal control. Cut to Vic trap scene with Roland playing the violin for background music and Nolan using a flashlight to imagine lightning; cut to fight scene, both Nolan and Roland are knocked to the ground due to that Garfield has jinxed them. As Garfield and Jinx escape together, Roland jumps out to block Garfield and Vic goes to the other side, but Nolan blocks as well, causing them to be trapped.
Garfield has an idea to use food to attack, Garfield puts food in the shape of a ball in his mouth and shoots at Nolan knocking him off the train but he holds on to the holder, Roland then has to take action and grab Vic, Garfield grabs another food and squirts him directly at Roland's eyes, covering his eyes, Roland Nolan and Jinx came as Garfield put a lot of hot sauce in his mouth and breathed fire, but Jinx, Nolan and Roland hid below.
Later, when Vic and Garfield crash on part of the train, Nolan and Roland grab Garfield and Vic and throw them onto the sharp spikes. When they both discover that Garfield and Vic felt love, they switched sides to be good dogs, turned on Jinx and began expressing themselves.
Jinx lost it and pushed them off the train, causing Vic Garfield Nolan and Roland to fall on the spikes, but survive off the trampoline. At the end, both Nolan and Roland are now working as Marge Marlone’s guard dogs, and were last seen angrily staring at Jinx when she found out, who responds scowling. At the end of the movie, both Nolan and Roland were carrying gifts to Jon's house for Garfield's birthday and started dancing to the music.
