Nomar Arcielo

Nomar Arcielo is a character who appears in the TV series Power. He is a member of a gang led by mobster and drug dealer Carlos "Vibora" Ruiz called the Soldado Nation. He also dated Ruiz's teenage daughter Isabel. He is the main antagonist of season 1.

He was portrayed by Vinicius Machado.

Biography

Normar was brought in by the FBI to be their informant in order to find out who Felipe Lobos' distributor Ghost is in order to take down Loboz. The reason for him becoming their CI was because Angela Valdes threatened to tell Ruiz about his relationship with Ruiz's 14-year-old Isabel Ruiz. Scared that they were going to tell Ruiz about the relationship he agreed to become Valdes' CI and help her find Ghost.

He regularly reported to Angela Valdez (who was also Ghost's love interest) and was her CI. After the assassination attempt on Ruiz by Pink Sneakers, Tommy Egan paid Ruiz a visit, and Nomar was there and mistook him for Ghost. After Ruiz recovered, He found out that his daughter had a relationship with Nomar. This was discovered when Nomar sent Isabel a picture of his penis, which he sent at the time Ruiz snatched his daughter's phone off her. To ensure loyalty and friendship, Ruiz then asked Tommy to assassinate Nomar. Fearing that Ruiz found out that he was a informant, Nomar tried to escaped and tried to call Angela for help but was hunted down and killed by Tommy at his aunt's place in Queens where he was stabbed multiple times. Whilst taking his last breaths he kept saying 'Ghost', referring to Egan,saying that he was the one that killed him.

Later on in Season 2, they show Nomar's funeral where his friends and family attended. They show Ruiz giving Nomar's mother a bag of money and giving his condolences. Than, Ruiz approaches his grave and says "I hope you suffer the worst pain, you c-cksucker".
