Norberto Cervantes is a minor antagonist in the TV show Dexter.
Cervantes was a cartel hitman working for Carlos Guerrero. He was ordered to kill Ricky Simmons by Guerrero after Guerrero discovered that he was an undercover cop. Cervantes killed Simmons by throwing him off a bridge, but had part of his arm bitten out in the process. He then found messages to Simmons's wife Kara on Simmons's phone, and, suspecting Simmons may have given her information about Guerrero, he broke into the Simmons home and shot her dead before escaping, not realizing that he left his blood at the crime scene from where Simmons bit him.
During the investigation, Cervantes was arrested following a DNA test on the blood, and interrogated by Maria LaGuerta, who offered him a lenient sentence if he agreed to provide information on Guerrero. However, Guerrero discovered the deal and ordered Cervantes's murder. Cervantes was stabbed to death by a corrupt prison guard acting on Guerrero's orders under the pretense of a transfer. A fellow inmate was blamed for his murder.
