Norman Soth is the secondary antagonist of the 2004 video game, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow. He is a former CIA agent who becomes a collaborator for Suhadi Sadono.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Soth was born to an American military family on August 7th, 1961 and he stayed in America until the age of 11 when his family moved to Southeast Asia due to his family work. In 1982, he was contacted by CIA agent Knisely for Operation Red Beard, which involved supporting Indonesia against East Timor.
During Operation Red Beard, Soth was badly injured when his vehicle hit a landmine, resulting in the loss of his earlobes and the bottom half of his right leg. Soth was then fitted with a prosthetic leg to replace the one he lost. For unknown reasons, between 1998 and 1999, Soth lost support from the CIA and Operation Red Beard was disbanded as the agency's interests turned to East Timor, leaving Soth to fend for himself. Feeling betrayed, Soth swore revenge against the United States, aligning himself with the Darah Dan Doa and their leader, Suhadi Sadono.
