~ Norton Williams. |
Norton Williams is a supporting character in the 2006 video game Bully, serving as a supporting antagonist in the third chapter.
He is a student at Bullworth Academy, a tall black greaser with brown eyes and a little black afro, wearing black engineer boots, khaki slacks, black fingerless gloves, and a dark brown leather jacket with the collar pulled up are all part of his ensemble.
He was voiced by Adam Chandler-Berat.
Personality[]
Norton has a thick Bronx accent when speaking. He is the largest member of his clique and, after Johnny Vincent, he is tied with Hal as the second fiercest Greaser. Despite his assertions to the contrary, he is shown taking on a leadership position in the group when Johnny is not around[1]. While he doesn't criticize Johnny or Lola specifically, he does wonder if their connection is beneficial for Johnny.
He has one of the most complex personalities among the students. His sardonic, caustic sense of humor is one of his main personality traits. He has a lot of wisecracks and amusing insights, regardless of whether he is being friendly, furious, or impartial. For instance, when he sees Ray without a shirt on, he says that the Freak Show is nothing in comparison. In his opinion, Bullworth boxing is the only form of boxing that is more corrupt than regular boxing, according to the boxing club in Old Bullworth Vale. In a deleted scene from the mission Paparazzi and upon seeing compromised photos of Mandy, he remarks, "That's it, I'm heading to the football team to test out."
On the other hand, he occasionally makes an effort to project the image of a traditional macho guy with a vulnerable and uncomfortable side. He makes reference to the film The Outsiders, saying he sobbed at the conclusion and that if he could paint, he would depict sunsets in a style like to Ponyboy. He refers to the nerds as "Nerdtards," says he frequents comic book stores, acknowledges The Lord of the Rings, and is conversant enough in nerd culture to make light of it when necessary during battles, all of which suggest he has a secret geeky streak. He also intends to work in demolition once he receives his Bullworth degree.
Biography[]
Past[]
While his background is mostly unknown, it is possible that given their identical last name and skin tone, he is the police officer Williams' son.
Bully[]
When Norton goes with Johnny and Lola to see Jimmy's battle against Russell in The Hole, it marks his first plot appearance.
His appearances in Chapter 3 are regular. His most significant role is as a boss in the task The Tenements. Norton, who appears to be in command of the clique while Johnny is away, waits for Jimmy on the top level and uses a sledgehammer to strike him. He's the one in Wrong Part of Town who breaks up the clique with Jimmy, Chad, and Algie when Lola's flirtation puts them all in hot water. He plays a silent part in several additional Chapter 3 tasks. He is shown being leaned over by the authorities on a police cruiser during The Rumble.
Following Johnny's disappearance in Chapter 5 of Finding Johnny Vincent, Lola visits Norton. He labels her a tramp after she challenges him, and then unwillingly provides Jimmy with some helpful information.
