Nousgalia is a major antagonist of The Misfit of Demon King Academy anime and book series, as well as the main antagonist of the Great Spirit arc.
One of the gods of Azure, Sky of Gods, being the paternal god, he is an egotistical deity that does any whim, arbitrarily of the wishes of the world or the privacy of its inhabitants. He created Avos Dilhevia's identity via forcing to bring to light Misa Ilioroagu as an hybrid, from the Mother of Spirits Reno, against her legend and wishes, as well as creating the legend of the presumed Demon King of Tyranny. He also tried to delete Anos Voldigoad after his first defeat by him, plaining to use the False Demon King of Academy as a pawn to erase him, whether by the usurper's hand, or with the contribution of this one to the use of the order of the destruction of the God of Destruction, Abernyu.
In Japanese, he is voiced by Yuya Uchida, while possesing Eldmeld Dittijohn, is voiced Rikiya Koyama, who also voices the previously mentioned, and in English, by J. Michael Tatum in his original appearance and while possesing Eldmed and Jonah Scott in the previous version.
Appearance[]
In his original form, he is a tall man with long blonde hair and a muscular body. He wears loose-fitting robes that expose part of his upper body and a loincloth.
Possessing Eldmeld Dittijohn's body, he maintains most of his appearance, exchanging the large black hat for a small white hat. Also, he wears a Demon King Academy teacher's uniform.
Personality[]
As a god, Nousgalia possesses different values than humans and demons. He believes that the world is governed by order and that everyone should follow that order. If they refuse to do so, the wrath of the gods will fall upon them.
Synopsis[]
Initially, Nousgalia appears, it is at the beginning of the first episode. where he attempts to force the Great Spirit Reno to give birth to a divine child for him, but is interrupted by Anos Voldigoad and quickly defeated. He then tries again, possessing the body of Eldmed Ditijohn, but is interrupted again by Shin Reglia and quickly defeated a second time. She would then try a third time, taking advantage of when Reno was alone, managing to give birth to Avos Dilhevia through rumors of the demon king of tyranny, also killing Reno for the contradiction to his legend as a result.
Later, he infiltrates the demon king's academy by possessing the body of Eldmed Dittijohn, although Anos still discovers him. Without ignoring that, he decides to harm the students when they refused to follow his class. but Anos stops him from it. He then sends some of his students to attack Anos at the end of class on one occasion. Even so, he maintains classes but without intervening.
After Avos Dilhevia emerged, Nousgalia has been with her at Castle Delsgade, then appears when Anos, Lay Glandzulli and Shin Reglia invade the throne room, intercepts them and confronts them, with Avos confronting Lay and Nosgalia confronting Anos and Shin. For a moment, Nosgalia has the advantage over Shin, until Reno resurfaces through the Riina spirit. From here, Nousgalia has it a little difficult with more spirits leaving and resurfacing, only to be defeated by Shin and sealed in red crystals.
When Anos defeats Avos, the latter frees Nousgalia from the seal. then Nousgalia uses Castle Delsgade and the power of the demolition sword Venuzdonoa, which was absorbing the mana of Avos, who had impaled himself with it by Nosgalia's will, to free the order of destruction from the goddess of destruction Abernyu. and with this, destroy the world, with Anos included. Nousgalia appears triumphantly saying "This is your punishment", until Anos also appears after the world is destroyed. Surprised by this, Nousgalia decides to flee although he does not realize that he is afraid. When Anos points this out to him, Nousgalia refuses to believe it and tries to convince Anos not to kill him because of the consequence of order falling, but it doesn't work. Later, Anos challenges him to laugh in this situation and when he laughs, Anos confirms that he has emotions. Offended and upset by this, Nousgalia charges at Anos, only to be impaled by him, while also making a pact with Eldmed and giving him the order of Nousgalia. Upon seeing this event, Nousgalia responds that an infernal cannot assume that power, but Anos tells her how Eldmed has tried to gain his power through a magical formula. With everything against him, Nousgalia furiously yells at Anos, to which he ignores him as he turns him into a fly, as long as he will always be reincarnated in this way. Before Nosgalia turns into a fly, he throws several words at Anos, which come to nothing until he is turned into a fly. Turned into a fly, Nousgalia leaves the place, but when Eldmed recovers his body, he hits Nousgalia with his staff, turning him into nothing.
