Novakane is a supporting antagonist in the 2023 film Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, the second installment of the rebooted Transformers film series. He is one of the Sweeps that serve Scourge and the Terrorcons. Novakane is Scourge's Right Hand alongside Freezer.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts[]
Scourge would send Novakane and his partner, Freezer to steal the Transwarp Key and kill Noah Diaz and Elena Wallace. Freezer and Novakane would find them and chase them. Novakane and Freezer would use their strength to go through doors. They would use their stealth to attach to the walls. When Novakane was about to kill Elena, Noah would stop him by throwing a relic at his head. When the Autobots and the Terrorocons would fight outside the Museum, Freezer and Novakane would fight Mirage until they retreated. Later at Peru, Novakane would be alone (since Freezer would be killed later before) and sent to kill Elena. Elena would kill Novakane by impaling him and his body would fall in the lava.
