Kensei Odaka (also known as Nox), is the main antagonist of Kamen Rider Zeztz, the 36th series of Toei's long-running Kamen Rider franchise and the 7th installment of the Reiwa era.
He is an enigmatic man responsible for summoning the Nightmares, his presence always leads to imminent disaster that Baku must stop before hell on Earth is unleashed.
He is portrayed by Yuki Furukawa.
History[]
Background[]
He used to be a police officer working under Paranormal Affairs Division, but in a mysterious event, he disappeared without a trace, changed his name to Nox and became the Nightmares' envoy.
Present[]
He appears when Baku chases after a potential kidnapper until he is run over by a car (it is currently unknown if he is responsible for this). After Baku defeats the Gun Nightmare as Kamen Rider Zeztz, Nox appears in the hospital Baku is admitted to, knocking a vase off the table before altering reality to prevent the vase from falling and breaking, to look like it never happened.
He again appears with a newly summoned Bomb Nightmare and encourages it to realize Tetsuya Fujimi's bad dream. When Zeztz is about to defeat the Bomb Nightmare, Nox then stops him from finishing the Nightmare and explains to him about the nature of dreams, making Zeztz realize that Fujimi himself is the one who created the Nightmare.
After the defeat of the Prison Nightmare, Nox is revealed to have Nem’s body in his possession, heavily implying that she’s responsible for the nightmares.
Personality[]
Nox is an extremely calm and stoic man who has a profound ideology about the nature of nightmares and dreams. Toward his enemies, he doesn't even show much hostility toward them and retains his calm and stoic behavior, nonchalantly explaining the nature of said nightmares to Baku. He is shown to have no interest in his enemies or stopping them, as seen when he didn't stop Baku from finishing off the Bomb Nightmare.

- His name is mean Night or Darkness in Latin.
- Nox is ordinary have his hair to be fully silver but his actor Yuki Fukuhara suggested that his hair should be partially highlighted which they're went with for production.
