Nue Gui is a minor antagonist of the manga Record of Ragnarok Forbidden Legend - Apocalypse of The Gods, a spin-off of the manga/anime series Record of Ragnarok.

Nue Gui is the Chinese God of Pestilence, as well as a Moryo Town resident strong enough to be considered a Major God in an area full of Minor Gods.

Appearance[]

Nue Gui is a humanoid God with dark skin, shoulder-length dreadlocks and a mustache. He has tattoos all over his body, with those on his face giving him the appearance of a beard. He is always bare-chested and wears ripped jeans held up by a belt and boots.

Personality[]

Nue Gui is an arrogant God who thinks highly of himself and wishes to demonstrate his social dominance over the Gods he deems inferior. He is also short-tempered, so much so that he immediately engages in a fight with Zhuque simply because Zhuque is not afraid to face his threat. He has a sadistic nature, as after beating Zhuque and the other members of the Four Beasts, Nue Gui also decided to insult them.

Biography[]

Nue Gui is the Chinese God of Pestilence and a resident of Moryo Town, the city where the Minor Gods of the Chinese Pantheon reside. In this city, Nue Gui has risen above the others to the point of being considered a Major God.

When a young Zhuque arrives in town, Nue Gui and two other Gods attack him for violating the rules. Zhuque, despite later being aided by Qinglong, Baihu and Xuanwu, is defeated by Nue Gui and his two henchmen, who even insult them before leaving. Some time later, the four Gods, having united to form the Four Beasts, face Nue Gui again and this time manage to defeat him.

Powers and Abilities[]

Overall Abilities: As a God, Nue Gui possesses physical abilities far superior to those of any ordinary Human. His body cannot be damaged by mortal weapons, however it can still be damaged by unarmed attacks from individuals with superhuman strength and Divine Weapons. For the same reason, Nue Gui is unable to die due to old age. Nue Gui is strong enough to defeat the Four Beasts as young Gods in their first fight, though he lost the second.

Trivia[]

  • It is currently unknown whether Nue Gui is an original God from the manga/anime series Record of Ragnarok or if he actually comes from Chinese Mythology.
