Nuppefuhofu is the Jack-o'-lantern-themed Minor Youkai of the Youkai Army Corps serving Daimaou and a minor supporting antagonist in Ninja Sentai Kakuranger. He serves as the titular main antagonist of the 32nd episode.
He is voiced and played by Tadashi Takatsuki.

Nuppefuhofu first came to be when humanity's negative emotions physically manifested and formed thier own group under the leadership of the most powerful of thier kind; Daimaou.
Nuppefuhofu was ultimately among the Yokai who managed to avoid being sealed behind the Seal Door by the Ancient Kakurangers but was reduced to a human form when the Yo Power was sealed with Daimaou.
Kakuranger[]
By 1994, Nuppefuhofu has evolved into a more Jack 'o Lanter form by the time that the Yo Power is released by Kappa.
During a hot summer day when a couple are about to leave the beach, a man with his bike notices the couple and when they head home, Nuppefuhofu confronts the couple and ends up crashing on to them and introduces himself to the couple and licks their faces off. He goes on a rampage and removes tons of people's faces and making the town turn into turmoil. Whilst the Kakurangers are trying to find out of how to defeat Nuppefuhofu and head to his shack, filled with faces, he figures out whose face is he going to remove next. Later on, when the Kakurangers search for Nuppefuhofu and end up hitting a child named Haruka who wants to meet Nuppefuhofu. As Saizou is trying to take Haruka home, Nuppefuhofu jumps infront of Saizou, introduces himself and tries to attack him with his tongue but he dodges it. As Saizou is trying to fight Nuppefuhofu, he is immune to his attacks and when Saizou tries to stop Haruka from letting the Youkai steal her face, he slaps both with his tongue, stealing their faces. After Sasuke, Tsuruhime, Seikai and Jiraiya arrive, Nuppefuhofu blasts them with his Gep and gets away when he is hit by Sasuke's Red Slicer.
Whilst Seikai and Sasuke try to find Nuppefuhofu at the beach, Seikai spots the youkai as an ice cream man and after he gave them some ice cream, Nuppefuhofu was getting ready to lick Seikai and Sasuke's faces off and after a storm showed up, tripping on a branch and being spotted, he vanished away and moments later when he was asked by Saizou who was pretending to be Jiraiya if he can have some ice cream too, he wanted his face and turned into his youkai form, licked his face off while it was taken. After the rest of the Kakurangers showed up, Nuppefuhofu's stomach was starting to get upset, spitting a fake face out. When Saizou commanded the youkai to give everyone's faces back, Nuppefuhofu replied that it wasn't going to happen. When the Kakurangers morph, Nuppefuhofu summons Dorodoros and, after the Dorodoros are defeated, Nuppefuhofu fights Saizou; knocking away the Youkai with his Blue Shot and finishing it off with his Hidden Style Square Cut. Frustrated, he grows giant but is defeated by Super Kakure Daishogun's Iron Fist Flying Finish; removing the Youkai's face collection and sent back to their owners.
Nuppefuhofu is recalled by the Announcer whilst recapping the Kakurangers' war against the Yokai during his feature on the Kakurangers.
Nuppefuhofu is heard, along with all the other defeated Youkai, behind the Seal Door after Daimaou is finally sealed away by the Kakurangers. Reeling that they are now powerless in captivity, the Yokai all vow that they will one day be reborn and regain their power, cursing humanity.
