Nyan is a major antagonist in the anime, manga and webcomic series One-Punch Man. He is a Dragon-level Mysterious being and one of the executives of the Monster Association. He was previously a house cat prior to becoming a monster and a member of the Monster Association.
Appearance[]
Nyan is a tall anthropomorphic humanoid cat monster with a muscular and thin body. He has long sharp ears, pointy fur on each of his shoulders and cheeks and golden pupils. He appears to be an orange cat that is part of the tabby race, having orange furs with three lines on his on top of his head and wears a cat bell on around his neck.
Personality[]
Nyan has an extremely cruel and arrogant nature, as he showed a very psychopathic and terrifying smile when he was thinking about tearing apart a child. He always enjoyed watching other monsters torturing their opponents and getting revenges. Even before becoming a monster, torturing animals smaller than him was his greatest pleasure, which leads him to become a monster and join the Monster Association to do have freedom and do whatever he wants. He is very confident about his abilities, as when he fights multiple heroes and defeat them single handedly and even yawns after landing a slashing attack on Puri-Puri Prisoner. Even after seeing Overgrown Rover gets defeated by Saitama, he still tries to cause damages to him by using his scratching attacks. After learning that Saitama we're completely immune to his attacks he immediately flee, which show his cowardly side as he is not willing to risk his life to serve the Monster Association. He shows a soft side of him when he fought Puri-Puri Prisoner spoke about the meaning of love this reminded him of his life when he was a house cat of the love between him and his former owner.
Because of his overconfidence, he is defeated by Drive Knight when he misjudged the hero's abilities, which leads him to his defeats when he enters Drive Knight's armor and starts playing with him a little bit which gave him an opportunity to burn him.

Abilities[]
- Immense Speed: Nyan can move at an insanely fast speed, defeating several heroes in the blink of an eye, as they couldn't even predict his movements.
- Supernatural Elasticity: His unique ability as a monster allows him to stretch his body as a thin as 3 milimiters and allows him to travel at an extremely high speed.
- Claws Manipulation: Nyan can grow his claws to over 3 meters long to slash his opponents violently. He can also use these claws to change the trajectory of a bullet that was shot at him.
