Nyx was an ally of Spawn in the Image Comics Spawn series but later becomes one of the main antagonists after becoming the new Queen of Hell and being a member of the Greenworld which grew more antagonistic in the later comics.She was also the first She-Spawn and became Scion of the Greenworld.
History[]
Nyx was a girl named Carrie Andrews who grew up along after her parents died. At the age of 8 she learned how to use magic and experimented on it as she grew up and went into the Greenworld where she met Gaia who became intruge by her making herself a mentor to Nyx. She would later meet Lily and Thea and they form a coveninat to learn more magic and improve on it. Years later lily gave up magic and Thea was left on her own dealing with a curse. Nyx meet Al simmons who lost his powers thanks to Cogliostro and Nyx helped him regain his powers as his sidekick. Nyx would later fall in love with Al and their relationship became intatmite. However Mammon had other plans and forced Nyx to betray Spawn to save her friend Thea who died and went to Hell. Nyx would take Al's suit and become the first She-Spawn and went to hell to find thea where she would meet Redeemer who was Eddie Frank. She and Redeemer would team up to escape hell and finding Thea there who was so tramiuzted that Nyx was forced to kill her at her request.
Later Nyx returns from hell alongside Redeemer,and gave the suit back to Al but Al went berserk forcing Redeemer to defend Nyx.Later Nyx and Al would meet up again Remorseful for what she had done Nyx and Spawn would reconcile and help take down Zera who took over her body. In the Final Battle against Mammon and Morana Future Cyan gave Nyx the power to seal both Morana and Mammon away along with Returning Back home
Nyx as She-Spawn also fought Bomb Woman in a crossover. Nyx would return befrending Jessica priest and discovering jim Downing who was spawn for a while and later learns of Al's return but is shcoked to see how much he had changed. Later meets Cogliostro who kills her and steals her power as a hellspawn. Nyx was revived in the green world where she would meet the shperad and the other memers of the Greenworld conucil. She would team up with Jim Downing,Cy-gor,Overtkill,and heap for collecting the dead zones and becoming Scion.
She would but heads with Al over his actions but after heaven tricked al and Haunt into opening the dead zones Nyx and greenworld was forced to fight in the legions of hell for the throne. Nyx and her allies fought sinn but lost and later Nyx was requested by al to take over hell's throne. After taking over hell Nyx kills sinn and banishes Al and the scorched back to earth.
It was revealed that Earth was covered by Dead Zones which made every angel,demon,and hellspawn powerless allowing the vampries led by Bludd to take over. The Greenworld is now in charge.
Powers and abilities[]
Nyx as a wiccan has the knowledge of every maig clike casting spells,healing,telaportation,and energy blasts along with empowering.
As She-Spawn she gained enchanted human strength,speed,and stamia with her even using an axe.
