The Prince of Vermin, Obox-ob is perhaps one of the most well-known Obyrith Demons. He was the first Prince of Demons in Dungeons and Dragons, but after his power was stripped from him, Obox-ob fled to Zionyn, the 663rd layer of the Abyss. He spends his time there, brooding for an opportunity to makes his way back up the Abyssal heirarchy.
Physical Appearance[]
Obox-ob was a nightmarish entity, seemingly a cross between a backwards scorpion and a monstrous millipede, with clusters of chitinous, arachnoid limbs ending in deadly talons, erratically clambering about his distended form. The places where his three-faced head and three, massive tails should be were reversed, although both ends were equipped with wicked stingers. His tail edges were jagged and dripped a black venom while his hideous visage, supported by a thick neck stalk, had a hollow, corkscrew-shaped spike at the end of his red tongue. His three faces gave him three sets of malicious, crimson eyes and a vertical maw that housed his tongue.
Powers and Abilities[]
Hence his name, Obox-ob can summon vermin. His aberrant body can inflict madness on those who looked in his direction. He can also turn objects into massive insectoids for a while. His tails can transform his victims to giant, fiendish scorpions. The victims can only return to their original forms if they were wished to do so or a miracle, and even then, they would still be ruined.
Obox-ob loves melee combat and tends to use his natural armaments and telekinetic powers to overwhelm his oppponents.
Lair[]
Obox-ob made his lair in the Blood Shallows, which was marshy and had large hills. The realm's skies were white with blue clouds, and the realm's water was blood-red, containing dangerous acids. After he was weakened, Obox-ob fled to the 663rd layer of the Abyss, Zionyn, where he ruled without questioned.
