Obscure Umbra Cookie is an overarching antagonist of Cookie Run: OvenBreak, serving as the main antagonist of Legend of the Spirit Weapons story. They are the leader of the Cult of the Umbral Pact, a sinister cult that serves Ebony Dragon, an embodiment and source of all primordial evil. They were released as a playable character on August 28, 2025.
Personality[]
Obscure Umbra Cookie is shown as a tyrannical leader whose word is law for their followers. When choosing members for their cult, they don't just pick just anyone, but the strongest and those who have proven themselves worthy for the cult. For the same reason, the cult leader will get rid of anyone who fails their missions and orders.
In addition to this, Obscure Umbra is also maddened by the idea of destruction and plunging everything into chaos due to the fact that they are an emanator of the Ebony Dragon's power after their sealing.
Like the dragon whose power the cult leader seeks to harness in order to resurrect the Ebony Dragon, they believe that might makes right, and that a Cookie's worth is only revealed through strength.
