Octavian is a male explorer and the primary villain in the Poptropica graphic novel series and Mystery of the Map Island. His history involves being a part of the secret society known as the Protectors of Poptropica under Spencer Albright's mentorship. His best student status is mentioned by Albright, but Octavian's life takes a turn when he falls in love with Paulla, a peasant girl in Pompeii.

Storyline[]
Role in Mystery of the Map (book)[]
Octavian, initially a pilot, goes rogue early in the story, leading to various encounters with the main characters. He battles them, loses his map, and is revealed as the main villain. Octavian's schemes involve stealing boats, confronting Vikings, and attempting to manipulate the timeline to eliminate Spencer Albright.
Role in The Lost Expedition[]
Octavian escapes from the Vikings by covering himself in mud and steals Nils' boat.
Role in The Secret Society[]
Octavian travels to different islands, causing destruction and seeking revenge. His quest takes him to Pompeii, where he attempts to rewrite history and erase Spencer Albright. The confrontation leads to a battle with Jonas and the children. Despite the destruction of the Aegis, Octavian is left devastated by the consequences.
Role in The End of Time[]
Surviving the rubble, Octavian joins the heroes to reach the Nexus. An alternate Spencer Albright reveals alternate timelines, and Octavian finds one where he saved Paulla, choosing happiness. His fate beyond this point remains unknown.
