Officers Roland Franklin and Carly Garden are minor antagonists in the 2009 film, The Hangover, the first installment in the trilogy of the same name. They are both very aggressive cops who enjoy abusing their power and throwing their weight around.

Officer Franklin was portrayed by Rob Riggle, who also played Aloysius O'Hare in The Lorax, Bela in Hotel Transylvania 2, Mr. Walters in 21 Jump Street, Carl in Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life, Travis and Captain Lippencott in Dumb and Dumber To, Mr. Dickers in the Victorious episode "The Breakfast Bunch" and Greg in Disney's Big Hero 6: The Series. While Officer Garden was portrayed by Cleo King.

Biography

When Stu, Phil, and Alan wake up after a drunken bachelor party, they discover that they stole a cop car the night before.  Franklin and Garden, the owners of the cruiser, track them down and have them arrested.  They refuse to listen to the trio's claims of being drugged and having no memory of the theft and tell them that they will have to wait a week for a hearing.  Since the guys have a wedding to go to the next day, they make a deal with the cops, who agree to let them go in exchange for being able to use them as guinea pigs in a taser demonstration for a class on a field trip.
