Ogura is the main antagonist of Densetsu no Stafy, Densetsu no Stafy 2, and the secondary antagonist in Densetsu no Stafy 3. He is an evil demonic eel who set out to conquer Pufftop long ago, though he was imprisoned in a jar by a young Papa Star. It is revealed in Densetsu no Stafy 3 that he was enslaved by Evil when he was younger, and that is the reason for his villainy.

Biography[]

Densetsu no Stafy[]

While carrying treasure, Starfy accidentally dropped the jar, releasing Ogura from his imprisonment. Ogura then used his magical powers to create a terrible storm and terrorize Pufftop.

After Starfy defeats Boerun, Ogura shows concern over him threatening his plans for conquering Pufftop. As a result, he sends out whirling tornadoes to throw Moe and Starfy into the Deep Sea in order to hinder them further from reaching Pufftop.

After Starfy reaches the Undersea Temple, he creates a doppelganger of him named Doppel in order to cause chaos in the temple and defeat Starfy. After which he creates illusions of the Prophecy of the Temple and waits for Starfy to grab them. After which he sends Starfy out of the rooms using his tornadoes. After Starfy consults with Old Man Lobber about Ogura, he appears and sends them both away. After Starfy and Moe managed to get the Prophecy from Lalako, before Old Man Lobber can read it Ogura snatches it away from them and blows them away yet again. In order to stall for time, he deployed Doppel to attack Starfy. After Doppel's defeat, he throws the Prophecy back at Starfy... only for it to be tampered with, making it illegible.

He made his way to Pufftop in order to control the Sea of Sky. He sends out Kragen, Flychu, and Crabolt to assist him with keeping Starfy out of his way. While keeping Starfy busy, he went on and terrorized the guards while keeping Pufftop under his control. Starfy eventually made it to him and defeated him after which he fled shortly. After his initial defeat, he turns himself into a cannon-like appearance and attempted to defeat Starfy again but failed and fled shorty yet again. After Starfy reached him one last time, he turned himself into his most powerful form which was a blob-like monster as his last stand.

At the end of the game, he is defeated by Starfy and re-sealed within the jar, though soon afterwards Starfy accidentally trips and knocks over 45 treasure chests. Until all forty-five treasure chests have been collected, Starfy will make the mistake of knocking over the jar and re-releasing Ogura.

Densetsu no Stafy 2[]

Ogura creates the ten Puchi Ogura from two black orbs he dispenses from his nose. The Puchi Ogura escape from the jar and cause another storm to hit Pufftop. The storm knocks over the jar and releases Ogura. Ogura then kidnapped Mama Star as revenge for being trapped inside of the jar.

After defeating the Puchi Ogura, Starfy fought Ogura and once again imprisoned him within the jar.

Densetsu no Stafy 3[]

Evil destroyed the jar, freeing Ogura permanently. Ogura then met with Evil, who gave him one last chance to conquer Pufftop. Evil then altered Ogura's appearance to make him stronger.

In this game, he is fought as the penultimate boss. After being defeated, Starfy and his friends proceed on to fight Evil.

When Starfy, Moe, and Starly reach Old Castle where Evil resides, they discover that in order to truly defeat Evil, they need to collect all forty-two Evil Crystals.

Despite only having forty-one, Starfy and friends confront Evil anyway. Things look bad until Ogura appears and reveals the last Evil Crystal, sacrificing himself to finally destroy Evil.
