Ohyaku is a modern-age villain from Marvel comics who became one of the main antagonists of Black Panther during the time the title was taken by Shuri, debuting in Black Panther #8 in November 2009.
Biography[]
Ohyaku is part of a secretive organization of villains who scavenge the war-zones of superheroes and villains so as to steal any left behind technologies, weapons or resources. In addition to this mercenary work Ohyaku would ultimately be revealed as an agent of the ultra-conservative group known as the Desturi and was sent to kill Black Panther on their behalf alongside several other assassins.
Personality[]
Ohyaku is a vicious, arrogant but highly skilled opponent who delights in combat and in showing her dominance, she will rarely back away from a fight even when given an opportunity to do so and enjoys talking down to her opponents and threatening them with death - even if a battle is going poorly for her she will not run away and seems more than willing to risk death in pursuit of her "hunt".
Abilities[]
Ohyaku is cybernetically-enhanced with her most notable weapons being extendible whip-like tendrils similar in design to Iron-Man's foe, Whiplash - she is also extremely talented in combat and has significant monetary backup and resources.
