~ Oliver to Connor for flirting with him. |
Oliver is a major antagonist in the Fundamental Paper Education series. He is one of bullies in Paper School and he is boyfriend and childhood friend of ∆lice, and is the self-insert for the series creator Katie.
Appearance[]
Normal[]
Oliver appears as a white long-haired boy who wears a black collared shirt, white socks, black boots with white shorts. He has a long ponytail that has a bow on the end of it, and his hair has an "A+" written on it.
Alternative/Alternate[]
Oliver's alternative appearance is very similar with his normal appearance but there are still differences between them, the main and obvious one being that he's fully colored. The "A+" from his hair also disappears from his hair in this alternate form.
Recent Alternative/Alternate[]
While mostly remaining the same, Oliver's recent alternative appearance now has eyelashes, a lower ponytail, and sharper teeth.
Child[]
Oliver has very short hair as a child due to it being tied to a ponytail with a bow with a clip. He wears a blue shirt with a button in the center and a blue skirt.
Amalgamated[]
Oliver's amalgamated appearance appears to be a more monstrous version of his paper version. He has spiky fingers and spiky white teeth. He also has black blood dripping down from his mouth. His pencil as a right arm is also sharper.
Alternative Amalgamated[]
Oliver's alternative amalgamated appearance is just his amalgamated appearance but more towards his alternative appearance. He has tattered and messy clothes and hair and blood dripping down from his eyes as well as cuts cuts on his arms. His headband is broken, and he wears a necklace with a few razors blades.
Personality[]
Oliver appears to be a troublemaking, sociopathic boy with a knack for fun, even going far as to kill people.
He lacks a heart and appears to have more affiliations with the teachers, which may explain why they let him go free. Some speculate that the reason why he's a troublemaking person is because of his background as a traumatized and jealous person of Claire's "normal life."
Oliver is rather violent and has little to no care for his own personal health, as well as having a habit of eating non-edible things, even some that are harmful to him, such as razor blades.
Despite this, there is a theory that Oliver is actually trying to help Zip do her work, giving somewhat of a good personality.
He is a childhood friend of ∆lice and also her boyfriend. He also appears to be madly in love with ∆lice, despite her violent, cannibalistic, cruel actions, and even joins in with her.
Biography[]
Despite not showing much of his past, the first episode of Fundamental Paper Education showcases Oliver as a somewhat troublemaking child in the first few scenes. During class, he constantly throws paper at Claire and laughs at her. After which, he comes along with Edward who uses his drone to lift her up and drop her to the floor.
While this didn't cause permanent damage to Claire, she would later be pursued by the teachers, and - desperate to find a way to escape - runs into Alice's Room, which had a sign titled, "EXIT" by Oliver. After Claire is killed, Oliver takes down the piece of paper and gives Zip a high five. He is later scolded by Miss Circle and the teachers for causing a ruckus.
Speculations[]
- Fundamental Paper Education might take place in Oliver's notebook due to the sketches we constantly see. This is also backed up by the fact that Oliver directly appears before the notebook opens and zooms in on Claire.
- The fact that most of the sketches are most of Oliver's friends and lovers heavily implies this, as most of them take the full page rather than the ones Oliver doesn't pay much attention to in the series. Miss Circle, for example, is drawn in a jokingly manner as a small furry cat.
- While this remains a stretch but still a ground basis more many other theories, Oliver may exist in an "upper layer" (aka a higher dimension, which is the real world) and is simply writing and/or drawing how the story goes. This explains why the series is more of an OC Showoff and why there are hardly any authorities.
- Some fans have theorized that Oliver is more of a tutor for Zip, which explains why he's not a student at Paper School.
- It's possible that Zip and Edward are children of the teachers, hence why they don't want to kill Oliver.
- Other fans, however, theorize that Oliver knows way more about Paper School than anyone is the series, which is why he's allowed close to Zip and Edward: because he's actually smart.
Trivia[]
- He is Katie's persona, the creator of Fundamental Paper Education.
- Katie confirmed he is not a student at Paper School.
- Oliver likes eating soap.
- It's also theorized that Fundamental Paper Education is a reflection on Oliver's depressing life in the real world.
