Invincible questions Allen on how releasing the Scourge Virus onto Earth would be different than what the Viltrumites had done to the Unopans. Allen answers to Invincible that even though the Human race may potentially become extinct from the Scourge Virus, the sacrifice will be worth it for exterminating the Viltrumite species to save the universe. Invincible realizes why Nolan did not come with Oliver and Allen, as Nolan wanted to protect Earth from Allen and Oliver unleashing the Scourge Virus. Allen believes that Nolan could not see the big picture in having the Scourge Virus be released, but Invincible believes that Nolan was right in attempting to stop Oliver and Allen from releasing the Scourge Virus on Earth.
