| “ | The surface? N-No. My poor dear Guinevere. She must be so confused and lost. Bring her back, won't you? Oh, bring her back... Bring her back! BRING HER BACK! BRING HER BACK!!! Please, I-I have to fix her again! I'll do better this time. | „ |
| ~ An elderly Olivia breaking down and demanding Guinevere is brought back to her. |
Olivia Park is the main antagonist of Glitch Productions's animated sci-fi psychological thriller series, Knights of Guinevere.
She is the daughter of Orville Park and the CEO of Park Planet after his passing, having been gifted with Gwen in her youth as an "apology" for a very traumatic event that left her with an inability to emote. However, she treats Gwen very cruelly, regularly pulling her around by her robotic innards and "fixing" her regularly, which traumatizes her greatly and pressures her to constantly escape no matter how damaging it is to her.
She is voiced by Erin Nicole Lundquist as an old woman and by Lauren Kong as a child.
Appearance[]
In general, Olivia has long and wavy armpit-length silver hair that appears pink in some scenes with purple streaks, blue soulless eyes, fair skin and rosy cheeks.
When she was young, she had long-sleeve purple dress, white shoulder wrap with gold buttons, hair is a little below her shoulders. As a teenager, she wears oversized dark purple jacket with gold buttons, short-sleeve grey turtleneck minidress, long black gloves, hair put up in a bun in the back, bangs and front side hairs, black glasses. In her old age, her hair are all down, bangs swept to the side, sleeveless off-the-shoulder purple and periwinkle long dress, and has medical aid.
Personality[]
Olivia has a quiet and distant personality, preferring to be alone or with Guinevere. She expresses her feelings in a cold, monotone way, which is potentially due to an unknown, tragic event in her life. Olivia is also rather sadistic, hurting others without any guilt or remorse. This is something that started in her childhood and persists even into her elder years. As she grew older, her reliance on machines grew, showing she cannot do much without her android companions.
Biography[]
PILOT[]
The episode begins with a flashback, as the narrator tells the story of The Princess (Guinevere), who must be rescued from The Tower and Olivia. Soon after, Orville Park enters the room and takes both girls with him. Atop the tower, he presents his daughter to Park Planet, a world he built for her birthday. He describes it as a place where "everyone who comes and goes will eventually be under her watchful care," claiming it could make up for something. She then pulls Gwen by her intestines, inflicting tremendous pain on the android. In that moment, Gwen seizes the chance to escape. While Orville panics and calls for security, Olivia calmly waits for her return so she can continue her fixing.
Many years later, at the tower, an elderly Olivia lies bedridden, tended by servants. One brings word that traces of Guinevere have been found, including bits of her hair. Olivia, frail and distraught, hysterically insists Guinevere must be brought back and fixed, swearing she will do better this time. When asked if security should handle it, she dismisses the idea. The camera pulls back to reveal two massive robots. One activates, and Olivia sends it to retrieve the android.
