Olly Wang is a major antagonist in Lookism. He was the head of Hostel of the Big 4 Crew and a former friend of Eli Jang, who became obsessed and sought to be like him due to boredom with his studious life.
Biography[]
Olly Wang attended the same cram school as Sally Park and Heather Kim. He was a bright young man whose immigrant parents went to great efforts to ensure that he did well in school. However, he felt that he was being driven insane by his parents' excessive dominance.
Once Olly saw Eli Jang destroy Backdoor, he got fixated on him. He robbed his own home and stole from children in an effort to catch Eli's eye. Olly fought for them when Gun decided to demolish Hostel, and Gun ultimately chose to release them under the condition that Hostel joins the other four crews.
Personality[]
Stemming from his controlled and unexciting childhood, Olly has developed a mentally-unstable mindset. While he is mentally unstable, he still shows high intelligence, however, and can think clearly. To him, feelings are something he knows by definition but not by heart. He has a fanatical obsession with Eli due to believing he is the epitome of freedom, ignoring the traumatic life he went through. Olly wants to live a life where he can do anything he wants with no constraint.
