Onitsawa is the antagonist of the first episode of the 1976 Tokusatsu superhero series The Kagestar. He is a sophisticated criminals who wields a cane than also functions as a firearm.
He is portrayed by the late Yousuke Naka, who would go on to play Admiral Majin in Kamen Rider (Skyrider) and Grand Marshall Deathmark in Dai Sentai Goggle V.
Biography[]

Onitsawa sought to kidnap the daughter of the president of Kazamura Konzern so he could hold her for ransom against her father. He sent a letter to President Kazamura saying he would kidnap his daughter while also having his combatmen disguise themselves as police officers and kidnap Suzuko under the guise of guiding her to safety. After kidnapping Suzuko and her escort, Kageoh Sugata, the two were brought to Onitsawa's hideout and tied up.
Onitsawa then phoned Kazamura to discuss the ransom. Discovering that Kazamura had called the police, Onitsawa demanded that they leave the room before he continued talking. After the police inspectors left, Onitsawa demanded 1,000,000,000 yen from Kazamura before hanging up.
However, Kageoh and Suzuko were able to break out and escape. Onitsawa and his combatants pursued them, but as they were trying to catch them they inadvertently knocked the two into an electrical power grid. Kageoh and Suzuko were electrocuted, triggering rapid cell division within their bodies and causing them to trade places with their shadows, which manifested as the superheroes Kagestar and Bellestar. The duo fought off Onitsawa and his minions, allowing Kageoh and Suzuko to return home safely.
Onitsawa later donned a special helmet to give himself superpowers and made another attempt to kidnap Suzuko. However, Kageoh transformed into Kagestar and freed Suzuko from him. After Suzuko became Bellestar, the two stopped Onitsawa from escaping and captured him.
