Oomadoko Monster (オオマダコモンスター, Oomadako Monsutā, lit. Giant Octopus Monster) is a minor antagonist of Uchuu Keiji Gavan who appears in episode 6. It is an octopus-like BEM Kaiju who is the sixth monster that Gavan encounters and battled with and also helping Makuu in training children into becoming an elite Double Men.

It is voiced by Toku Nishio, who also voiced Conrad in Berserk 1997 anime.

Biography

As a part of Makuu's plans to train the children into becoming an elite Double Men, the Oomadoko Monster is summoned to help them with their plans. At Makuu's Genius Education Center, it serves as a cook who is feeding children an octopus food to put them under their brainwashing.

However, Retsu eventually grew suspicious of the kids and went to investigate the school where he discovered Makuu's plans to brainwash them into becoming an elite Double Men. While he tried to save the children under the hands of Makuu, Retsu was attacked by the Crushers and the monster hanging him upside down so the Crushers could kill him. Retsu then transformed into Gavan and defeat the Crushers. The monster than transformed into a flying white ball before Gavan could kick it with a Spiral Kick, turning it back to normal. It tried to ensnare him but only for Gavan to kick him towards above. It then used his tentacles to release an explosive sparks at Gavan before it retreated with a Double Man.

While Retsu is staying in Matsumura household to keep Akira company for the night, the Oomadoko Monster breaks into the house to fight Retsu while the Double Man using the flute to bring Akira back to the Genius Education Center where he and the kids were trained for a heavy physical training by the next morning. After Retsu transformed into Gavan and freeing the kids from Makuu's brainwashing, the monster is ready to fight Gavan where he attacked it with a Dimension Bomber before they were dragged into Makuu Space. With an enhanced strength from Makuu Space energy, the monster's initially gain the upperhand on Gavan and later attempt to fired an eye energy bolts at him. It ensnared Gavan with its tentacles to release an energy pulse at him before Gavan kicked it with a Spiral Kick. After teleporting away from Gavan, the monster grew into a giant size and attempt to fire an energy bolts at him. Gavan then summoned Dol to destroy the monster.
