Optigami is a minor antagonist in the French superhero cartoon Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir. It is an origami butterfly-like Sentimonster created by Mayura in order to discover Ladybug and Cat Noir's identities.

Optigami is an origami butterfly-like Sentimonster, with similar colors as Shadow Moth's outfit. It has two eyes at an angle on its upper wings, with tiny black dots as it's pupils.
History[]
Optigami was created after the events in "Miracle Queen" to spy on Ladybug's allies to discover her identity, but it never managed to discover her identity.
In the beginning of "Optigami", Nathalie shows Gabriel Agreste how she tried to use Optigami to get to know Ladybug's identity. They talk about how thanks to Chloé Bourgeois's akumatization into Miracle Queen, all of the previous Miraculous wielders' identities, save for Ladybug's and Cat Noir's, were exposed. She thinks the Sentimonster useless, because Ladybug always had her face hidden, and Optigami had no success trying to follow Ladybug.
Gabriel thinks on the contrary: Optigami will help them find out who's behind Ladybug's mask. He sees there's a vulnerability when the owners return the Miraculous. If Optigami was hiding in the returned Miraculous, it would lead them straight to Ladybug's house. Nathalie thinks his idea is brilliant but is not sure how he will do it.
Gabriel tells her that they need an event where all the holders of the Miraculous will appear, and a supervillain whom Ladybug could only beat if she gave a Miraculous to someone. He then calls Chloé's mother Audrey and tricks her into arranging a brand new award of her magazine: the monthly fashion icon, and giving it to Gabriel's son, Adrien.
Optigami flies into a poster of Adrien at the Award show, and Nathalie tells Shadow Moth that Optigami is in place.
Shadow Moth says that Ladybug has no idea that her defeat will be captured on tape, and that's the best part. He then enters the men's restroom, where Alec is playing a game on his phone. Scarlet Moth then takes an amok and creates a Sentimonster clone of Alec: Sentialec. When the real Alec comes out from the bathroom, he is confused about seeing someone looking just like him.
When Sentialec enters the show, he starts by humiliating Audrey, who in turn tries to humiliate him back. Even Chloé laughs at it. Audrey's resulting anger is perfect for Shadow Moth to Akumatize her. He sends an Akuma to evilize her into Style Queen, who now can turn people into golden glitter.
When Audrey starts to attack the people at the show, we see Nathalie in her room. She sees that Kagami, the holder of the Dragon Miraculous, has been defeated. She then commands Optigami to search for the other Miraculous holders.
Adrien and Marinette ends up together in the elevator so they can't transform into Ladybug or Cat Noir. Back in Nathalie's room, she sees that Chloé, the holder of the Bee Miraculous, is defeated and orders Optigami to find more of the other holders. Optigami sees Max trying to guide a lot of people out of the building. Shadow Moth tells Style Queen that people are trying to escape the building, therefore she shows up and turns all the people to golden glitter and the building into a golden glitter building to trap the rest of the people in the building.
In the elevator, Marinette texts Alya saying she is stuck in the elevator with Adrien. Then Nino gets a text from Adrien who says that he is trapped in the elevator with Marinette. Both Nino and Alya seems happy because Marinette and Adrien are together. Optigami also shows Nathalie that both Chloé, the holder of the Bee Miraculous, and Luka, the holder of the Snake Miraculous have been turned into golden glitter when trying to escape in the air vents. In the elevator, Optigami is spying on Marinette and Adrien when Marinette is trying to call the Kwamis. Adrien sees it and tells Marinette so she doesn't reveal anything to Optigami. Instead, Optigami shows Natalie how Lê Kim Chién, the holder of the Monkey Miraculous is eliminated. Then Shadow Moth says that this only leaves Alya and Nino, the Fox and the Turtle Miraculous wielders, left for their plan.
Later on, Shadow Moth gets rid of Senti-Alec and creates a Senti-Nino and Optigami watches when Alya as Rena Rouge gives Sentinino the Turtle Miraculous. When Sentinino transforms into Sentipace, Shadow Moth tells Optigami to merge with the Miraculous.
After defeating Style Queen, Ladybug still hasn't used her Lucky Charm which confuses her. Standing with her back to Alya and Senti-Nino, she says that she might only need it to fix everything, but then she sees Alya and Senti-Nino giving a simple high five where Senti-Nino seems not to know how they usually do it which is their special high five. She remembers how Shadow Moth knows the identity of some people she gave a Miraculous to, and realizes that the Senti-Nino is a Sentimonster. Shadow Moth is furious and can't figure out how Ladybug found out. Ladybug then tells Cat Noir to destroy the Miraculous for her. When Optigami flies out from the Turtle Miraculous, Nathalie gets a headache. Shadow Moth is furious and gets rid of both Senti-Nno and Optigami.
Powers and abilities[]
Optigami can follow people. It can hide itself in objects and transfer video to Natalie's tablet. It also has wings that it can use to fly with. Because of its magical nature, Optigami is able to allow the tablet that contains its Amok to show images, photos, and videos of kwamis since kwamis don't show don't show up on cameras, photos, videos, or screens despite the Miraculouses granting them physical form.
