Orlando Block was the main antagonist of the Smallville Season Six episode "Sneeze".
Orlando Block was a mercenary and spy who had been hired by Oliver Queen to kidnap Lex Luthor and learn about the superpowers he had acquired while possessed by Zod during Dark Thursday. Block and his partner Wagner first stalked Lex and followed him around. They then ambushed Lex in an elevator releasing sleeping gas that knocked him out.
Block collected him holding Lex inside a lab with a chain-link fence. Block approached Lex stating he saw his powers on the only working satellite on Dark Thursday and threatened to kill Lex if he didn't reveal their source. Wagner objected to his methods, saying that they were instructed not to harm him but Block didn't care and threatened to shoot Lex to make him start talking.
Lex claimed that he didn't remember how he got them and told Block the second-hand account of the event he had heard from his father, that an alien entity had possessed him and that he had lost the powers as soon as Zod left his body. Block didn't believe him and shot Lex in the shoulder to see if he could coax him into using his powers, though this only resulted in Lex's injury. Lex finally made up a story that he injected himself with a serum that was located at LuthorCorp.
Block sent Wagner after it. Wagner objected, but Block threatened to kill him if he refused. Wagner complied and came back with the vial of serum, though Lex's story was a bluff and the serum was really a poisonous chemical. At the same time Wagner returned, Lana who had discovered Lex's location, went to the warehouse but Block found her outside and took her into the caged area.
Block threatened to test the "serum" on Lana, but Lex pulled another bluff by stating that the serum was tailored to his blood chemistry and would only work on him. Block stepped over to Lex with a syringe, only for Lex to headbutt him. A fight ensues; Lana freed Lex who then grabbed the syringe and injected the chemical into Block. As Block writhed from the poison, he fired his gun several times, starting a fire in the lab. Block soon lost consciousness and died from the injection, his body being burned in the fire.
