Orphan-Maker

Orphan-Maker is the partner-in-crime of Nanny in the X-Men universe, and much like her, is a misguided villain who thinks he is liberating young mutants via forcibly taking them from their parents and often killing these parents. Needless to say Orphan-Maker's violent methods and madness have made him an enemy of many of Marvel heroes.

Biography[]

Nanny was among the children held there and some of her "Lost" children, but were opposed by Cyclops and Marvel Girl (Jean Grey), then members of X-Factor, who were there to retrieve Cyclops' son. In the course of their battle, Marvel Girl discovered that two of Nanny's "Lost" children were thwarted by Cyclops and Marvel Girl in the heroes that she and the Orphan-Maker were robots.

Along with Nanny, the Orphan -Maker has battled members of the X-Men, X-Factor, the Avengers, Generation X, and the Fantastic Four.

When Charles Wavier created his mutant nation on Krakoa, Ophan-Maker became one of his citizens. Along with Nany, they rejoined the new Hellions team formed by Mister Sinister, composed of mutants whose powers were to violent or dangerous to adjust to the new nation. Their first mission was to destroy a new Marauders cloning farm.
