Osaki is a mercenary employed by the Super Science Network and an antagonist in episode 13 of Tokusou Robo Janperson.
He is portrayed by Toshimichi Takahashi, who also played Doctor Bio in Jikuu Senshi Spielban and General Deathgiller in Dai Sentai Goggle V.
Biography[]
Osaki was hired by the Super Science Network to locate and obtain the Iron Soldier, a robot warrior created by an ancient civilization whom they believed also created Janperson. Osaki attacked the laboratory of a scientist named Meiri who was also studying the ancient civilization, seeking to use her research to find the Iron Soldier. However, as he was doing so, a ring made by the civilization fell onto Meiri's finger, causing her to be possessed by a priestess of the ancient civilization.
Janperson then arrived and rescued Meiri and they, alongside police officer Takaido, went to locate the Iron Soldier first before Osaki and his goons could find it. However, Osaki had secretly placed a tracker on Meiri that allowed him to follow her movements. Osaki and his men then ambushed Janperson, Meiri and Takaido, but Janperson was able to escape with Meiri. Janperson and Meiri then located the tomb where the Iron Soldier lay, only to find Osaki had found it first. Osaki attempted to use the remote control for the Iron Soldier to take control of Janperson, but Janperson was able to resist it.
However, Osaki's use of the controller awakened the Iron Soldier, who immediately targeted Osaki's grunts and vaporized them with laser beams. Osaki attempted to use his remote control to gain control of it, but the Iron Soldier vaporized Osaki and his remaining goon as well before turning its attention to Meiri and Janperson.
