Ouga is the king of the western branch of the Ashu Tribe and one of the three overarching antagonists of GoGo Sentai Boukenger alongside Gordom and the Demon Bird.
He is voiced by Kazuki Yao.
Biography[]
Ouga was childhood friends with Kei. At some point, Ouga was sealed into a mountain by the Takaoka Clan to stop him from terrorizing humans. Kei would go on to fall in love with Karato Takaoka and together they would have a son named "Eiji". However, because of her forbidden love, Kei became trapped in a dimensional rift between the human world and the realm of the Ashu inside the 100 Demon Mirror.
Ouga was later unsealed by Quester Rei and distracted the Boukengers while the two Questers enacted their plan to create the strongest Quester Robo. In his confrontation with the Boukengers, Ouga was able to take on all of them, only to have to flee from the fight when his injuries acted up. Eiji followed him and found him recovering from his injuries. Ouga then revealed to Eiji that he had known his mother, and that he sought to kill him to remove Kei's "shame" from the world that had caused her to become trapped. Eiji initially agreed to allow Ouga to kill him, believing it would free his mother, but Satoru talked him out of it. After being beaten by the Boukengers, Ouga grew himself giant and did battle against them in their GoGo Vehicles before being defeated by DaiTanken using Bouken Flash. However, Ouga then used his power to turn Eiji to stone and trap his soul inside a dream world before disappearing.
Inside the dream world, Ouga took the form of Kei and used her visage to entice Eiji to stay there rather than rejoin his teammates. However, sensing his teammates were in danger, Eiji attempted to leave, at which point Ouga revealed himself. It was then that the real Kei appeared and recreated the shakujo so Eiji could use it on the Western Ashu King, allowing him to seal Ouga with his Ashu Vanishing technique.
