Overlord is one of the two overarching antagonists (alongside the Demigod of Chaos) of the BuzzFeed Animation Lab web series Chikn Nuggit.
They are a demon of high authority and Iscream's master, who sent them to Earth in order to tempt Chikn Nuggit into using his powers for nefarious purposes and "make the world ripe for demonic takeover".
They are voiced by Kellen Goff, who also voices Bezel in the same series.
Appearance[]
Overlord is a demon that appears as a large red ring covered in black spots of varying sizes that may be several eyeballs, as well as protrusions resembling veins on an eyeball. In the center of the ring is a black flame with a single red iris sporting three slits in the middle.
Personality[]
From what is shown of them, Overlord is a purely malevolent entity that desires conquest through chaos.
Biography[]
Overlord makes their first major appearance in "The Birth of Iscream", in which they are revealed to be the one who sent Iscream to Earth, with the mission that Iscream encourage Chikn to embrace his demigod powers to spread chaos and allow demons to take over the world once the damage is on. Overlord would also watch Iscream through a window, and was confused on what he was doing there.
Overlord would later make a brief cameo in "Bezel's Big Reveal", in which Iscream is texting them, and Overlord can be seen glaring, implying that they are furious at Iscream for seemingly abandoning the mission, even though at point Chikn has embraced his demigod powers thanks to Bezel.
In a later episode, after Chikn turns back to normal, Iscream states that Overlord was "pleased" with their success in saving the universe and "wanted" them to stay on Earth indefinitely, all but stating that Overlord banished Iscream from the underworld for abandoning the mission.
