Owen Carver is the main antagonist of the movie Fountain of Youth. He is a greedy corporate raider who wants to gain eternal youth and becomes powerful by profiteering from the water of the Fountain of Youth.
He was portrayed by Domhnall Gleeson,
Appearance[]
He is a handsome, good-looking, attractive, fine-looking, sightly, comely, easy on the eyes, easy to look at, lovely, exquisite, stunning red haired man who wears glasses which hide his deep-hued beautiful emerald orbs which hide an equally beautiful personality.
History[]
Owen is first seen when he is being introduced to Charlotte by her big brother Luke. He claims to have severe liver cancer and as a result is dying because of it. Soon he finances the recovery of a sunken ship after Charlotte lost her job as a museum curator. He entitles Charlotte to join the team with the promise of giving her a powerful lawyer to gain custody of her son, Thomas from her cheating husband.
After a while he volunteered to look after Thomas and when some gunmen arrive he manages to fight them off. Sometime later, he hires mercenaries to aide in securing a pyramid. After they make a journey, Charlotte realizes he was faking his illness and he reveals his true colors that he intends to make huge profit from selling the mystical water from the Fountain to the highest bidder and gain eternal youth from it. To test the water, he shoots Luke to force him to drink the water.
When Luke's blood dip into the water, it activates the water to surround him and the water is ready for Luke to drink. While tempted with being much younger again, Luke realizes that his eternal youth comes with the cost of Charlotte and his nephew's life force. He refuses to drink and the water instantly heals him from his gunshot wound. Seeing Luke is healing, Owen then proceed to shoot him multiple times in the chest to further test the effectiveness of the Fountain. The fountain then heals Luke of all the gunshots no matter how severe it is, convincing Owen that the fountain can heal everything. Owen questions why Luke refuses to drink it, he then states the Fountain is him to take.
Hungry for eternal youth, Owen slashes his wrist to dip his blood into the fountain to activate the water. As he drinks it, the fountain strips him of his life force, killing him as he ignores the warning that the fountain will strip anyone of their life who are only care about themselves.
