Oxanna Kristos is an intelligence officer in the Brotherhood of Nod's elite division the Black Hand and a major antagonist in Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun, serving as the villainous tritagonist in the Nod campaign of that game.
She was portrayed by Monika Schnarre.
History[]
After Black Hand leader Anton Slavik was set up to be executed by the Eastern Hemisphere Brotherhood's leader Hassan (who was working with the GDI), Oxanna infiltrated the execution ceremony posing as a news reporter and rescued Slavik. Hassan's forces attempted to cover up Slavik's escape by saying he had been killed and incinerated, but Kristos later broadcast a message calling for all Kane loyalists to rise up and fight the traitorous Hassan. After Hassan was defeated and captured by the Nod forces loyal to Kane, the Brotherhood was reunited and Hassan was set up to be executed at a ceremony in which Kane revealed himself to be alive once more. The Brotherhood of Nod would later go to war with the GDI once more, triggering the Second Tiberium War.
Kristos plays a central role in the Nod campaign of the game, serving as a frequent ally to the player. She and Slavik were assigned to secure an ancient alien warship and its supercomputer Tacitus for the Brotherhood, which had been stolen by General Vega and crashed in North America. Oxanna and the Nod Commander were able to take back the spaceship, but found the Tacitus was gone. The Black Hand later captured Umagon, an agent of the Tiberium mutant group known as the Forgotten. While interrogating her, they allowed her to escape so they could follow her to the Forgotten HQ.
Oxanna and Slavik were later ordered by Kane to attack the Forgotten while posing as the GDI in order to get them to side with Nod against the GDI. However, Lieutenant Colonel the two were outmaneuvered by the GDI and were captured by McNeil and Umagon, only to be freed soon after by CABAL's forces. Later, when Nod captured Jake McNeil, Oxanna seduced him to defect to Nod. She was later present for the Brotherhood's ascension when they destroyed Hammerfest.
Oxanna's fate in between the Second and Third Tiberian Wars is unknown, but given how she did not appear during the latter it is likely she was taken out at some point, either by CABAL during his rebellion or by Brother Marcion after he usurped control of the Brotherhood and purged all Kane loyalists who did not submit to him.
