Paco is the secondary antagonist of the 2004 crime thriller film Collateral.
He is a mobster who served as the right-hand man and personal bodyguard for his crime boss Felix Reyes-Torrena, also the reigning drug kingpin of Los Angeles.
The character was portrayed by Emilio Rivera.
Paco is first seen along with his crime boss Felix Reyes-Torrena when they are greeted by the film's protagonist Max Droucher, who is actually posing as Felix's assigned hitman Vincent after the latter forces him to do so in order to acquire the remaining targets that Vincent needs on Felix's behalf; Felix had assigned Vincent to kill four witnesses along with US prosecutor Annie Farrell, though he only suceeded in eliminating three of the five targets after Max destroyed Vincent's briefcase that contained the list of assigned targets in an failed attempt to stop his rampage.
As Felix believes Max to be Vincent and the pair have a conversation, Paco begins to suspect something is wrong and is ready to sort Max out. But then Max is able to diverse Felix's suspicions by threatening Paco in the same manner that he himself had been threatened by Vincent earlier on. Felix falls through the ruse and gives Max the information he needs to kill his next target, nightclub owner Peter Liam, before the latter returns to Vincent in the cab; as Max leaves, however, Felix orders Paco to follow "Vincent" and to kill him if something goes wrong with Peter's attempted assassination.
With that, Paco assembles Felix's henchmen and they follow Max and Vincent to Peter's nightclub to witness the assassination. However, the FBI and police have also followed them due to the authorities picking up Vincent's activities and Felix's involvement due to a court case coming up against him. Inside the nightclub, a shootout ensues and Paco orders his henchmen to kill Max; however, they are shocked when Vincent reveals himself and kills Paco along with Felix's remaining henchman before going on to kill Peter Liam himself along with all of Peter's bodyguards.
- Paco had roughly around only 10 minutes screen-time throughout the film Collateral.
