“ | Fear not, the world will not forget you. The scars you've gouged into it spell out your name for all to see. I confess, I was happy to take credit for your "victories". But did you ever stop to wonder what that says about you? That so many bought what I was selling? They call me a monster and you a hero. The world expects Palawa Joko to dare to throw reality into chaos. | „ |

Biography[]
Palawa Ignacious Joko is a powerful undead lich who once tried to usurp the continent of Elona with his Awakened army, just to be defeated by Turai Ossa during the Battle of Jahai. Turai sealed Joko under the ground, with a great monument being built above it not so long after to commemorate the victory. Centures later, Turai's descendant, Warmarshal Varesh Ossa, attempted to summon Abaddon and bring about Nightfall, which weakened the bounds holding Joko and he was able to free himself with the help of the Sunspears and Kormir, teaching them how to traverse the sulfurous Desolation in exchange for his freedom. This allowed him to leave and gather back his army. After Kormir's ascension to godhood, Palawa Joko decided to decimate the Sunspears, or convert any willing member into his personal guard, the Mordant Crescent. In 1175 AE, Palawa Joko marched to take Elona once again, diverting the Elon River, creating massive destruction, drought and famine. This forced the governments to surrender or become vassal states to Joko, allowing him to create his kingdom. About two-hundred and fifty years later, Palawa becomes one of the main antagonists during the events of the Guild Wars 2 expansion "Path of Fire" and the subsequent story season.
Appearance[]
Originally being an Elonian man, his skin became unnaturally dark and corrupted when becoming a lich, with his eyes being blue and glowing.. In Guild Wars, he wears a garb with cloth and armor, with golden adornations, and a big hat. In Guild Wars 2, he wears slightly different robe, adorned with royal decorations fitting a monarch, with even a bigger hat. He is always seen with his typical gold mouth jewelry. He either uses a tarred Mordant Crescent staff or a staff decorated with scarab motifs.
