Palus Abel is a major antagonist in the anime King of Braves GaoGaiGar Final. She is the leader of 11 Planetary Masters of Sol and is the counterpart of Ikiumi Kaidou. She cruelly sees her mission as a game and likes to taunt her enemies and isn't above using hostages to her advantages.
She was voiced by Sayuri Yamauchi, who also voiced Vera Ronstadt in The Big O, Lady Une in New Mobile Report Gundam Wing, and Primarda from the television prequel to FINAL, King of Braves GaoGaiGar.
Appearance[]
Palus Abel is said to look like Abel, the leader of Red Planet. She resembles a girl with purple hair and red eyes wearing a yellow cloak. Under the robe, there are various firearms which Abel uses to fight others.
Personality[]
Under her child-like appearance, Abel is a cruel being who is willing to brutally injure even children such as Ikumi Kaidou to silence them. She later even used Kaidou to be the biocomputer of Pia Decem's ship, Pia Decem PIT, revealing to Soldato J and Renais that Kaidou would suffer with any attack the ship takes, showing that she is willing to play dirty to gain the edge.
Palus Abel is also highly arrogant, looking down on Soldato J and Kaidou and calling them failures and even believing her plan to be impossible to end even after seeing the Goldion Crusher. However, her arrogance is very much justified, as she is a master planner that could easily stay ahead of GGG, such as releasing a brainwashed Guy Shishioh when Soldato J and the J-Ark escaped to space and having the Planetary Masters to ambush GGG when they all broke free from Palparepa's brainwashing gas. As a result, Palus Abel has proven herself to be a truly intimidating threat to the GGG, even if she was more loath to engage them in combat compared to the other Planetary Masters.
Biography[]
Palus Abel is one of the members of 11 Planetary Masters of Sol, programs created to restore the Trinary Solar System after it was destroyed by 31 Machine Priemvals. However, in order to do so, they decided to use the Pas-Q Machine to absorb dark matter to have energy to regenerate the Tribary Solar System, which would result in the collapse of Earth's universe.
After the destruction of the Z-Master, Palus Abel, along with the other Planetary Masters, awaken and started to build the Pas-Q Machine to use it to absorb dark matter so that the Pas-Q Machine could remake the Trinary System. Following this, GGG arrived at Repli-Earth to confront the Planetary Masters after being informed by Ikumi Kaidou about their threat. As Kaidou was watching the "sun" of Repli-Earth, he found out that the sun was actually Pisa Sol, the program responsible for controlling the Pas-Q Machine. Before Kaidou could do anything, however, he was attacked by Palus Abel through her telekinesis. After her psychic powers was blocked by Kaidou's own, Abel revealed the various beam cannons under her suit and opened fire on Kaidou, seemingly killing him.
Later, Guy Shishioh chased Palparepa down and met the Planetary Masters, who told Guy about their plan on using the Pas-Q Machine to rebuild the Trinary System at the cost of destroying Guy's universe, and that they insisted on using the Pas-Q Machine. Abel, together with her Planetary Master comrades, then watched Palparepa fight GaoFighGar with the Palparepa PLUS, in which the Planetary Masters won without much issue and destroyed GaoFighGar.
Later, Renais Kerdif Shishioh found and rescued a captured Soldato J, but were immediately attacked by Pillnus and Pia Decem. However, they managed to defeat the two Planetary Masters. Before they can kill them, Palus Abel stopped them with her psychic powers and was about to kill J and Renais with her beam cannons, but before she could kill them, Mamoru and Mikoto intervened the fight with GunGlue and GunDober. This allowed the two heroes to escape on the J-Ark, but not without Abel ordering Pia Decem to control the carrier Pia Decem PIT to chase them down.
Upon using their ship to ram into the J-Ark, Abel and Decem were ready to send fighters to attack J-Ark, blocking J's attempt to stop them before unleashing the brainwashed Kaidou upon them, making him take damage for every hit his carrier suffers to rub salt on the wound. Due to the circumstances, J became unwilling to attack it, and decided to grab the carrier to stop it from sending out more fighters. In response, Abel had Decem raise the carrier to space so that they could have a brainwashed Guy and the Repli-versions of the GGG's Mobile Unit to kill them, but due to their Super-AIs being exact replicates, they sacrificed themselves to save King J-Der while Mamoru and Mikoto were able to break Guy free from the Planetary Masters' brainwashing. Despite this, the King J-Der was still rendered to be unable to defend itself, and while J tried to defend the J-Ark in his J-Der, Abel ordered Kaidou to turn off the J-Crystal, making J unable to move. Boarding the ship, Abel attempted to rewrite Tomoro 0117, the program of J-Ark. However, before she could finish rewriting it, Guy managed to pilot GaiGar, to which Abel had Palparepa try and finish him off, but this was too late, as the Final Fusion command had been input, forming Genesic GaoGaiGar. This, together with the GGG squad's arrival, forced Abel to retreat to Pia Decem PIT alongside Decem and Pillnus. Decem then performed Giga Fusion with Pia Decem PIT to form Pia Decem PEAK, as they crashed into Repli-Earth's Los Glaciares in Repli-Argentina with King J-Der.
In Repli-Los Glaciares, Abel instantly pointed out that J had lost the J-Quath, the weapon used for King J-Der's finishing move, but J seemed to still have the advantage and seemingly destroyed Pia Decem PEAK with the J-Phoenix, a variation on the J-Quath that uses King J-Der's body as the weapon. However, it was revealed that Pia Decem had used an ES-Window to avoid the attack in the last moment before Abel had Decem to fire Anti-Meson Fighters upon the heroes, only for them to escape the attack via a similar method. With that, J and Renais attacks Pia Decem PEAK's power source with a point-blank range Meson Cannon, destroying Pia Decem PEAK and Pia Decem instantly. After killing Pillnus in front of Abel, Abel ordered Pisa Sol to duplicate and revive the defeated Planetary Masters, and seeing how outnumbered J and Renais are, Abel mocked them for having lost all hope. However, J and Renais still confidently smiled at Abel and said that she failed to notice something, and realizing something is amiss, Abel looked up and found out that while the Planetary Masters are fighting with the GGG preparing for their ultimate weapon, the Goldion Crusher, and for Pisa Sol to weaken from spending too much energy to regenerate the Planetary Masters. Despite all odds, Abel still believed that the GGG would still be defeated as Pisa Sol would soon recharge, only for Kaidou, who finally managed to break free, to tell her it was too late. In a last ditch effort, Abel ordered Pisa Sol to regenerate quicker, only for all this to be in vain as Pisa Sol was destroyed by Guy with the Goldion Crusher. With Pisa Sol's demise, all of the Planetary Masters started to disintegrate as well, and in her last moments, Abel uttered that the Trinary System had been undone before she disintegrated with her allies.
