The Pantheon of Discord are some of the secondary antagonists (alongside the Cybermen) of the Whoniverse.

They’re a group of gods devoted to the proliferation of chaos, resulting in them butting heads with The Doctor on multiple occasions.

Universal Role[]

The first member of the Pantheon seen was The Trickster during his appearances in The Sarah Jane Adventures. In the Doctor Who Magazine comic Imaginary Enemies, the Krampus attempted to erase Amy Pond and Rory Williams during their childhood, much like the Trickster during his first appearance.

The Fourteenth Doctor unknowingly brought the Pantheon into the main universe by evoking superstition on the edge of the universe. Each member of the Pantheon personified a different concept, heralded by a Harbinger. Sutekh the Destroyer, who had evolved into the God of Death, was apparently "the mother and father and other of them all", a presumably symbolic role, according to his Harbinger, yet this is implied to be Sutekh simply viewing the other gods as lesser to him.

The Toymaker's laugh from "The Giggle" is a classic arpeggio of a middle C in an octave higher. Maestro (child of the Toymaker) and Lux Imperator both have the same laugh, this implies that the titular giggle is an important part of the entire pantheon.
It's possible that The Beast and the Gods of Ragnarok are also members of the Pantheon, as, while not outright confirmed, the official Doctor Who YouTube channel released a video titled "The Pantheon of Gods from the Whoniverse" after Empire of Death, which featured both the Beast and Gods of Ragnarok, alongside the Toymaker, Sutekh, Mara, Trickster, and Maestro. If this is the case, Reprobate could be the Beast due to the Beast itself being an extremely spiteful, godlike being, and the Gods of Ragnarok are actually three gods that make up one whole: Raag, Na, and Rok, which would fit Malice, Mischief, and Misery, as they are referred to as "the threefold deity of malice and mischief and misery" by Harriet Arbinger.
