~ Bitta's motto |
Paolo Bitta is one of the two main characters of the italian commedy Camera Cafè, together with Luca Nervi. He appears in all five seasons.
He is played by Paolo Kessisoglu.
Personality[]
Paolo Bitta is the manager of the sales office; despite this position within the company, he usually spends his days at the coffee machine together with his colleague and best friend Luca, generally doing nothing or playing tricks on his colleagues, in particular on Silvano. An ignorant, erotomaniac, irresponsible and alcoholic character, he is known among his colleagues both for his largely amoral (and often illegal) behavior and for his incredible sales ability, which leads him to define himself as "a man called contract"; this skill is also the only reason for his remaining in office for over fifteen years despite frequent warnings from managers and various problems with the law. He is married to Valeria, with whom he has two sons, Brad and Jonathan; theirs is a totally dysfunctional family, since the two spouses constantly cheat on each other (although Paolo professes to be deeply in love with Valeria) and the two children have shown themselves to be incurable hooligans from an early age, which in truth makes Paolo very proud as he believes they took after him, although, over time, his eldest son Jonathan settled down, much to his father's disappointment. Despite his attachment to his family and profession, his greatest passions are three: his Alfa Romeo, his camper and the Poohs. He is in fact a passionate Alfa driver and cares more than anything else in the world about his car, which he continually modifies and develops together with two of his friends, the Albanian brawler Budello and his trusted bodybuilder Pino, who is also the manufacturer and supplier. of his favorite grappa.
His reckless, over the top and often drunk driving style is the main cause of his trouble with the law and of a sort of war that arose between him and the urban police.
Paolo is also an avid camper: he regularly forces his family to spend their holidays every year on board his fully equipped camper and his favorite magazine, as well as the only thing he reads, is the monthly Camper Magazine. His passion for Pooh is such that he knows all their songs and everything about them by heart (he even shows that he knows more about Pooh than they do themselves), that he pushes him not to miss even one of their concerts and that he lets him try great contempt for Riccardo Fogli, guilty of abandoning the group; Pooh themselves have repeatedly defined him as their number one fan, if not even "the fifth Pooh". He then nourishes a maniacal obsession with his four-color pen, given to him by his father and which he uses to sign his contracts, despite the fact that for years the only working color has been red [4]. Particularly unacculturated and bordering on illiteracy (he takes more than twenty minutes to read about ten words[5]), he is not even able to pronounce proverbs correctly, limiting himself to repeating the initial part of each one twice, such as "Who does... does it." Despite the criticisms of friends and colleagues, he usually sees all his numerous defects as great qualities: the only peculiarity of which he is ashamed is the fact that he has only one testicle, the right, having lost the other in mysterious circumstances and still unknown. Despite this impairment, his sexual performances are considered legendary: in fact, there are quite a few women he has managed to seduce and even in the company he is often intent on attempting approaches with his colleagues, in particular with the manager Gaia, without however achieving any results; he then frequents a large number of prostitutes, among which his favorite is a girl named Maruska. Over time Paolo remains quite indifferent to the changes that take place in the company: during the merger he keeps his job and enters into competition with Carminati, the energetic sales manager of Digitex, while following the Chinese acquisition he is joined by Stefano, young online sales manage

• The second son Brad: eleven year old, established criminal, his father's protégé.
