Papa Batfield is a minor antagonist in Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time. He is a mutant bat running a distillery in Mosquito Marsh, and is Dingodile's business rival. He sends his Wumpashiner minions to blow up Dingo's Diner, which eventually leads to the hybrid mutant unwillingly becoming part of Crash and Coco's multiversal crusade.
Biography[]
It's unknown if Batfield and Dingodile know each other personally, but the latter doesn't have a high opinion of him and his products, badmouthing the former's business in the Dingo's Diner commercial. A few days before the events of It's About Time, Batfield sent Wumpashiner bats to blow up Dingo's Diner, which they successfully accomplished. After blowing up the bats' wumpashine stack in revenge, Dingodile fell into a quantum rift, winding up in the Salty Wharfs. Batfield's fate following this is unknown.
Crash Team Rumble would reveal that Catbat had become the Wumpashiners' leader after their defeat by Dingodile, further ambiguating Batfield's fate.
