The Paper Ninja Clan are a criminal faction of ninjas and recurring antagonists in Sekai Ninja Sen Jiraiya.
History[]
The Paper Ninja Clan were a ninja clan which turned to crime as a way of getting money, committing robberies and assassinations in exchange for cash. In response to the criminal bent the Clan had gone down, a Paper Ninja named Mimura deserted the clan with his daughter and went to the Togakure school for protection. In response to Mimura's defection, the Paper Ninja Clan sent their fugitive hunter Oruha to kill Mimura for leaving the clan. However, Oruha was reluctant to carry out the task due to being in love with Mimura's daughter Kasumi. Though Oruha ultimately did not carry out the task, Mimura was still killed in a skirmish with Retsukiba. Oruha would leave the clan afterward and go into hiding to live in peace with Kasumi.
Oruha and Kasumi were forced to go into hiding due to fear of the Paper Ninja Clan's assassins. Eventually though, they were forced out of hiding by the Sorcerers Clan, who kidnapped Kasumi and held her hostage to make Oruha kill Jiraiya. While Oruha went to lure Jiraiya into a trap, Org Ninja Dokusai contacted the leader of the Paper Ninja Clan and informed him of Oruha's location. Upon hearing this, the Clan Leader soon arrived with a team of ninjas to kill Oruha and Kasumi for their desertion. The Clan Leader succeeded in killing the pair, only to be defeated soon after by Jiraiya. Oruha and Kasumi were then revived by Jiraishin and flew off on a paper crane to an unknown location where they could live in peace.
