Changing Ninja Parchis is a World Ninja allied with the Sorcerers Clan and a supporting antagonist in Sekai Ninja Sen Jiraiya.
He is voiced by Eisuke Yoda, who also voiced Lu-Long and Demost in the same show, as well as Shine and Führer Taboo in the Super Sentai series.
Biography[]
Parchis was summoned to Japan by Org Ninja Dokusai, his old friend, to assist him in a scheme to get the Yamaji clan evicted from their home so Dokusai and the Sorcerers Clan could move in and steal the dojo, along with the clay board leading to the Pako. The plan involved first framing the Yamaji family for causing trouble around the apartment complex they lived, including stealing jewelry from the other neighbors, before Parchis and the Karasutengu (disguised as police officers) came and arrested them for the theft.
Toha, Kei and Manabu were all taken to the police station, where Parchis interrogated Toha and took the Pako board from him, claiming it was evidence. When all hope seemed lost for the Yamaji family, Baron Owl suddenly showed up at the station with his horse and exposed Parchis as an impostor. Parchis and the Karasutengu then revealed themselves and fought Toha and Baron Owl, but after losing the clay board decided to retreat. Parchis reported back on what had happened to Dokusai, who in the mean time had managed to obtain the dojo by striking a deal with the landlord. His job complete, Parchis disappeared for parts unknown.
Parchis was later enlisted by the Sorcerers Clan again to assist them a scheme Benikiba had come up with to kidnap Kei Yamaji. The scheme involved Benikiba recruiting the assistance of a group of bully schoolgirls who had tormented Kei's new friend Satsuki Ogawa to kidnap her so Parchis could take her place. On the day of Satsuki's birthday, Benikiba and the bully schoolgirls arrived at Satsuki's birthday party and kidnapped her along with her parents, enabling Parchis to disguise himself as Satsuki before Kei arrived. They also had the Karasutengu plant a bomb on Toha's car to kill him and Manabu so they would not interfere. After the Sorcerers Clan finishing tying up the Ogawa family, Kei arrived at the house and was greeted by Parchis disguised as Satsuki. Kei was fooled at first, but eventually figured out something was amiss when Parchis disguised himself as Kei's mother, but forgot to change his voice. She transformed into Princess Ninja Emiha, but was soon taken down and captured by Parchis and the Sorcerers. However, it was then that Toha and Manabu arrived to save Kei, having survived the Sorcerers Clan's bomb thanks to the Black Saber being explosion-proof. The Yamaji ninjas fought off Parchis, the Sorcerers Clan and the girl bullies, forcing them all to flee.
Parchis resurfaced later when he stole an ancient Japanese sword from a museum in France and brought it to Japan. He was pursued by Vermillion Lizard, who wanted the sword for himself, as well as a French ninja working for Interpol named Catherine. Parchis attempted to sell the sword on the black market, but was tracked down by Jiraiya and Reiha and defeated with a slash from Jiraiya's Light Vacuum Sword.
Despite seemingly being vaporized, Parchis returned very much alive later when news surfaced of a girl named Jane who knew of the Pako's location. Parchis partnered with Silver Shark and the two teamed up with the Sorcerers Clan to obtain it. However, it would turn out that the supposed location of the Pako was a trap to lure out Jiraiya.
After the real location of the Pako was discovered, Parchis teamed up with Silver Shark again as well as Devil Cats to obtain it. As they, the Sorcerers Clan and Jiraiya all converged on the Pako, Parchis and his allies fought Jiraiya, Emiha and Reiha, only to be defeated by them.
Parchis's spirit was later among the evil World Ninjas revived by Madam Spider to take on Jiraiya and his allies. Their spirits were summoned again by Dokusai to enlarge himself.
