Parvati Dianna Shallow
was a contestant in Survivor: Cook Islands, Survivor: Micronesia and Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains. She placed 6th, 1st and 2nd respectively. She was deemed as one of the most dangerous females to ever play the game and has played 114 days. Despite being a villain, she is quite popular among fans, much like Boston Rob.

Parvati is the oldest of three sibling on a commune in Vero Beach, Florida. She and her family moved to Atlanta when she was 11 years old. Parvati went to the University of Georgia, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism with minors in French and Italian. While in college, Parvati was a member of the Alpha Omicron Pi sorority house.

Survivor: Cook Islands

Parvati first appeared in the thirteenth season, Survivor: Cook Islands, on the Raro tribe. She was one of two main villains, the other being Adam, although she was more popular than him. She remained on the Raro tribe after the four tribes were integrated into two in the third episode. Eventually Jonathan and Candace mutinied against the Aitu four (Ozzy, Yul, Becky, and Sundra, who are the heroes of the season) to join Raro and form an alliance with Adam and Parvati. After the mutiny, Raro outnumbered Aitu eight to four.

However, the Aitu Four, forming a powerful alliance of their own, overcame every challenge thrown at them, and three members of Raro were voted out before the merge, after which Nate and Candace were voted out, leaving Adam and Parvati on the chopping block. At once point Parvati cut her finger, nearly amputating it. Adam and Parvati were spared when Jonathan Penner was voted off. From here, Adam and Parvati were the underdogs, left in the same position the Aitu Four were in after the mutiny. Parvati tried to get Ozzy and Yul to flip by flirting with them during a reward challenge that the three of them won. However, they stuck to their alliance and voted her out. Adam was voted out in the next episode.

This was the only season where Parvati was voted out.

Survivor: Micronesia

Parvati returned as a "Favorite" and part of the Malakal tribe. She formed a friendship with James Clement and the two formed an alliance with another couple of Amanda Kimmel and Ozzy Lusth. After they lost the first immunity challenge, they tried to convince Jon Dalton over to their side to gain a majority over the alliance of Yau-Man Chan, Ami Cusack, Eliza Orlins and Jonathan Penner. But, Jon was voted off, being thought as untrustworthy. Parvati made a pact with Cirie Fields to go to the final 3 with Amanda. After losing the third immunity challenge, Parvati was seen as a huge threat, but thanks to her alliance (with Cirie) Yau-Man Chan was voted off. Parvati and James were sent to the Airai tribe, because of the tribal switch, they were separated from the alliance members, but Parvati was safe as her tribe won the last immunity challenges. During merge, Parvati found herself at a safe point, with 6 allied of the nine people left. During the 10th immunity challenge, Parvati convinced Jason Siska to step down so she could win immunity, which worked. Cirie Fields told Parvati that they should vote off Ozzy, as he was seen as a physical threat, Parvati accepted and Ozzy was voted off. After Ozzy was eliminated, Parvati tried to patch things up with James and Amanda (keeping her distrust a secret). The five remaining woman decided to come together and vote off the men, starting with Jason. However, when James Clemet was evacuated and Erik Reichenbach won immunity, they were forced to vote off one of their own. Amanda was the intended target, a plan which Parvati didn't want to be apart of. Parvati then helped Amanda in her quest to find a Hidden Immunity Idol (which she found buried in the sand under the tribal flagpole) and together, they voted off Alexis Jones. Parvati made it to the final 3, along with Cirie and Amanda (as Parvati promised them). However, she was shocked to find out that only two will face the jury. She was eliminated in the first immunity challenge, but was chosen by Amanda for the final 2. Parvati was named Sole-Survivor with five votes, compared to three votes for Amanda.

Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains

Parvati returned on the villains tribe in the 20th season, Heroes vs. Villains. She formed an alliance with Russell Hantz, and at one point he gave her an immunity idol, unaware that she also had an immunity idol. Russell and Parvati were possibly the two main villains of the season. Both made it to the final three with Sandra, but this time Parvati placed second to Sandra.
