“ | I don't like your kind of people. I don't like to see you come out to this clean country with your oily hair, dressed up in those silk suits, trying to pass yourselves off as decent Americans. I'll do business with you, but the fact is that I despise your masquerade. The dishonest way you pose yourself. Yourself and your whole f-cking family. | „ |

Biography
Patrick Geary was a United States Senator from Nevada who often did business with the Corleone crime family and it's Don Michael Corleone. He was known for being a racist towards immigrants, particularly Italians and also enjoyed spending times with prostitutes in clubs
In 1958, he was present along with his wife in a ceremony for Anthony Corleone's First Communion party that took place in his father Michael's house. Geary himself gave a speech. He later went into Michael Corleone's office to talk with him about business. Patrick warned Michael that he will talk frankly with him even in front of his men. Michael wanted to obtain a casino in Nevada, but was having trouble with the license. Patrick Geary offered to help him in exchange for $250,000, even though the license costed only $20,000. When Michael asked why he has to pay more, Patrick started to insult him, his family and Italian Americans in general, calling them dirty hypocrites, and admitted that he wants to make things difficult for him on purpose. Michael wasn't bothered and simply told him that they are both hypocrites but told him not to involve his family. Patrick then left the room, telling Michael to never contact him again with Michael responding that he offers nothing expecting the senator to pay himself for the license. Geary arrogantly laughed and walked away.
Michael then planned his revenge on him, but was he was busy with the Hyman Roth issue, he left his Consigliere Tom Hagen to deal with this. Hagen, who knew of Geary's habits, set up a trap for him in one of Fredo Corleone's night clubs where he was often spending time with a certain prostitute. Hagen had Al Neri drug the senator and kill the prostitute making it seem like Geary was the one who did it. After waking up, Geary so the dead prostitute covered in blood and could not remember what happened. He was soon visited by Hagen who told him to calm down, as Fredo owned this place, and this issue could be easily covered, in exchange for Geary's friendship. Thus Geary became from an enemy to a mere pawn in the hands of Michael Corleone.
In the fall of 1958, Patrick Geary was in Havana along with Michael and Fredo Corleone during a New Years's Eve party in a night club. This time Geary was gentle to Michael as he realized he underestimated him and was now in his pocket. The party was interrupted by the Cuban Revolution, with Geary fleeing along with the rest of the people shouting that he is a senator in order to survive from the rebels. In 1959 he was present in the Senate Committee investigating organized crime, and he personally questioned a soldado of the Corleone's named Willie Cicci. Later, when Michael Corleone was there to testify, Geary gave a speech praising the Italian Americans and left the room claiming that he can't stay because he had another committee to attend, thus removing one possible obstacle for Michael. He was then present when Frank Pentangeli testified, but this time he didn't say a word during the testimony.
