Pauline, better known as Supreme Fury or The Arsonist, is the main antagonist of the 2022 French-Belgian-Canadian animated film Fireheart.
She is a former Broadway star who wanted to become a broadway actress. She’s the former assistant of Laura Divine who was the secret identity of Supreme Fury. She’s also the former friend and arch-nemesis of Georgia Nolan.
She was voiced by actress Laurie Holden.
Personality[]
Pauline is a complex villain, marked by cunning intelligence, charm, and a calculating nature, fueled by a mix of ambition and a need for validation. This drives her to manipulate others, while hinting at a past and vulnerability she tries to conceal beneath her confident exterior.
Her charm enables her to mislead those around her, while her ambitions drive her pursuit of acknowledgment. Pauline's resolute nature, coupled with emotional volatility, renders her a formidable adversary motivated by complex motivations and feelings.
Despite her challenging nature, she elicits a degree of sympathy; however, her actions often contradict this perception. Pauline grapples with insecurities stemming from past failures and experiences of rejection.

Pauline's appearance is distinct across both her civilian identity and her supervillain persona. In her everyday life, she presents herself in a light pink dress complemented by white gloves, featuring braided hair and black glasses, which collectively convey a modest and intelligent image.
As Supreme Fury, her attire is a striking dark purple ensemble, paired with a tomboyish hairstyle, symbolizing her metamorphosis into a powerful and imposing villain.
As The Arsonist, she is a shadow of purple fuel with glowed purple eyes.
Biography[]
Background[]
Nothing much is known about Pauline’s past although that sometime prior is that she started attending acting classes same with Broadway for twenty years ago.
Sometime around the events of the film, Pauline started working as an associate and assistant of Broadway actress Laura Divine who would be abused by her. However, while posing as her associate she would become a supervillain named “Supreme Fury” or “The Arsonist” forming as a shadow with a mask in which she brainwashed several firemen for some reason in an unknown location lair under the tunnel.
Sometime before the events of the film, she would become the assistant of the director and Broadway star Laura Divine for two months working for her.

Pauline first appeared when Georgia (posing as Joe) investigates on who was behind the crime as she looks at Laura and Pauline as the suspect culprits behind the crime

She appears as The Arsonist spirit form where she taunts Georgia The Arsonist then threw down a ball around Georgie in an attempt to brainwash but escaped when Shawn intervened and brushed the shadow off. but not before her father, Shawn, protects her as the spirit escapes. In her lair, she plans to make the town become part of her stage.
Later during her stage, Mrs Divine berates her assistant and orders her to bring her down the stage which she reluctantly does.
Georgia then encounters Pauline who introduces herself as an assistant to Laura Divine, who has been a personal assistant for two months but has been working on Broadway for twenty years. Georgie as Joe introduces herself as a firefighter which Pauline replies she knows because she signed an autograph of her from the paper.
As Laura Divine tells the firefighter to leave her theatre, she orders Pauline to pull her up on the sgave only for her to accidentally leave her hanging, getting her injured in the process. As Georgia and Pauline sit in the stairs, a police officer accuses her for having cause it happen leaving him sobbing.
Pauline tells Georgia how much of a failure, but Georgie explains that she’ll recover and go not be hard on herself convincing her that she should follow her own dreams. However, Joe explains he is a girl by telling her she is Georgia which surprises Pauline.
Pauline tells her to be careful as she goes to investigate. Pauline calls in Georgia explaining to her that she got fired but is delighted about it, admitting Georgia was right that it’s time for a change of her dreams Georgia tells her how proud she is of her.
Georgia goes into the abandoned room where she sees Pauline unconscious as she takes her from the smoke, but the floor collapses as Georgia tries to save her but plummets to her death. Georgia hears Pauline’s scream inside the stage in which she use takes her up while she talks unconscious that she thought she would perished. However, the floor collapsed in which Pauline begged Georgia to help her up as the latter tried picking up while pleading for her not to let go of her hand, but falls to her demise leaving Georgia heartbroken.
Georgia, her father, and her dog Pepper investigate under a mysterious room where she reveals to her father that she was in disguise the whole time in which her father reveals to her that he adopted her because her parents died in a fire accident but before they could reconcile he gets brainwashed. Pepper tried to protect Georgia from the shadow but gets knocked out in the process. The Shadow reveals herself to be Pauline who was behind the rest of the firefighters that disappeared, which shocked and surprised Georgia. Pauline explains that the old “Pauline”is dead and her new persona is Pauline convinces Georgia to join her with her exllaingin of how everyone refused to let them follow their dreams because if them being women and convinced her that they can work together to make their dreams come true inckhd but Georgia refuses explaining to Pauline that she may not be a real firefighter but that no one can't change her or even her father, leaving an angered Pauline to leave her behind. After Shawn, Georgia’s adoptive father, gets trapped inside a cell ofbbeing brainwashed. The Arsonist appears tells her people despise change including ones who are closest to them in which Pepper attempts to charge at her but gets knocked out as Georgie sadly tries to wake her up. The Arsonist tells Georgia that it dislikes dogs and apologizes. As The Arsonist becomes closest to Georgia, it reveals itself to be Pauline in disguise shocking Georgia. Pauline tells her that she is “dead” and she goes by the name as “Supreme Fury”, mockingly asking Georgia on what he of her little death scene if it’s too much.
With Georgia despite being saddened tells Pauline that she may not become a firemen but has the fire in her heart explaining that no one can change that, not even her father herself. Shocked and Abgered of her refusing her offer, she leaves her and pepper behind telling her she’s not ready for her stage and that she’ll miss her grand finale as she escapes her lair.
She then escapes into her vehicle and takes the elevator. She the leaves the cab and uses the bolts from her vehicle of Broadway Fireworks inside the bucket as she levitates the temperature as she begins her own plan on using her guitarist.
Georgia and the firefighters went to the tower to stop Pauline, where she tried filling the tank with her which successfully brainwashed the entire town with her using her guitar as part of her own power to keep brainwashing them with Georgia plugging it out before she can do any damage. Furious that Georgia foiled her plans, Pauline charges at her who luckily holds onto the She tried to lower Georgia while the latter pleadingly begs her not to do it but Pauline ominously refuses to listen of her warning. However, the vines gets stuck with Pauline accidentally tripping but not before Georgia rescues her.
Pauline accuses her of ruining her plans, explaining they could’ve changed the world together but Georgia responds to her that she is helping to change the world. Pauline passionately expresses her belief that she and Georgia share a common spark and drive, trying to appeal to Georgia but she explains to her by explaining to Pauline she uses her methods to harm others while she uses her own to save them. Pauline taunts her snarkily asking her if she’s going to drop her like how she did at the theatre stage, as Georgia struggles to hold onto the vines. However, The firefighters came to the rescue for both of them just in time with Georgia explaining to Pauline that firefighters are one big family, much to Pauline’s dismay and frustration as all Georgia could do was give a concern look before being lifted to safety by Shawn and the firefighters.
It is completely unknown of what happened to Pauline afterwards after she and Georgia were rescued by the firefighters, but it is highly likely that she was arrested and was sent to prison for her crimes for having brainwashed millions of people. Afterwards, Georgia, her father Shawn, and the firemen were praised for their efforts of having saved the city from being brainwashed.
